Cupping therapy is one of the oldest and most effective method of releasing the toxins from body tissue and organs.

It is a practice in which the therapist puts special cups on the skin to create suction. This causes the tissue beneath the cup to be drawn up and swell causing increase in blood flow to affected area. Enhanced blood flow under the cups draws impurities and toxins away from the nearby tissues
and organs towards the surface for elimination.

An 88 Years old patient presented with bilateral knee pain since 10 years, He had severe pain in his
knees, not just during walking but while sitting or ying too.

And it was diagnosed as Bilateral Osteoarthritic knee.
So here we are training patients Quadriceps femoris
muscle along with Hamstrings muscles with QSE & HSE exercises respectively. 💛 We are also using SLR (Straight leg raise) exercise.

So as I mentioned about TENS therapy in my previous post, i want to elaborate a bit about it!!!

TENS (Transcutaneous Electrical Nerve Stimulation) is a method of electrical stimulation which aims to provide symptomatic pain relief by exciting sensory nerves and thereby stimulating the pain gate mechanism.

The first illustration shows 8 channel TENS clinical unit as it has 16 lead wires with electrode pads attached.

The second illustration shows a 2 channel portable TENS unit as it has 4 lead wires (Each channel has two lead wires) with electrode pads attached.
