The whole idea of meditation for a beginner is to make him mindful about his present moment - about himself and his surroundings.

Meditation helps the practitioner to become aware about our thoughts and our being. One cannot change his life simply by meditating but he will definitely be well equipped to face all the challenges that life throws at him.

Meditation shouldn't be regarded as a one time experience that will transform your life magically. Meditation asks for discipline and perseverance. No matter if for 10 mins, but only by practicing meditation on a daily basis will you be able to reap it's benefits.

For centuries, only anecdotal reports about the benefits of meditation were available as proof. Now, scientific evidence from well-designed studies, including images of the brain, are emerging. Some of these studies suggest that meditating for as little as 20 minutes daily can affect the function and structure of the brain in a positive way. Researchers have found that meditation increases attention span, sharpens focus, improves memory, and even dulls the perception of pain!

And if you find meditation boring then may be you haven't tried various types of meditation. Because if you do, then I am sure you'll be able to find the one for you, the one that you can stick to, the one that will make you a better person effortlessly.

So, without any further delay, just dive into the blissful world of meditation!

Did you know that when breathing well, about 70% of waste is eliminated through the lungs just by breathing? Have you ever given it a thought that on an average we breathe about 22,000 times in a day?

Breath is believed to be the main source of Prana - the Life Force. We can survive without food and even water for some days. But can we live without breathing?

Interestingly, we are more worried about our diet than our breathing. When was the last time you really focused on your breath? The problem is that breathing just happens. We don’t have to think about it. We don’t have to make an active choice to breathe. However, if we become aware of our breathing and learn to control our breath consciously, we can significantly boost our health and performance in many areas of life.

There are so many resolutions that we make and break every year. Breathing is something for which we don't have to step out to go to a Gym or any other Fitness Centre. We just have to learn the correct way of breathing and different breathing exercises by which help us to improve our lung capacity. We need to learn the connection between our mind, body and breath which will further help us to energize ourself, calm down ourself and balance our energy levels depending upon our need & requirement.

Remember the last time you danced to your favourite tune? Lost in the music, following the beats, not thinking about the past, not worried about the future... You wer IN THE MOMENT!

Wasn't it a lovely feeling? Don't you, at times, wish to feel this way your entire life?

Yoga, in its totality, helps us to transform our lives into one such beautiful experience. While the physical aspect of yoga keeps our body strong, flexible and healthy, Pranayam & Meditation keeps our mind calm when our life hits rock bottom.

It takes only a second for our mind to flip and we end up hurting ourselves or others. Regular practice of Pranayam & Meditation trains us to keep our mind under control in our low moments.

Yoga focuses not only on a healthy body but a healthy mind as well. It knows that for a blissful life, not only physical health but mental stability is also essential 😊😇
