Honoured to be invited back at the “Nutri-Conclave”, organized by the Department of Dietetics and Nutrition, NSHM Knowledge Campus, Durgapur last week, as a Panelist to discuss the Role of Healthcare Professionals in Promoting Sustainable and Personalized Nutrition alongside my esteemed colleagues from our fraternity. It was also a pleasure listening to and judging presentations by students of Nutrition & Dietetics from various institutes.
Special thanks to the HOD, Dr. Anuradha Mukherjee, for the invitation and the warm hospitality. It’s always a pleasure to be a part of and contribute to NSHM Durgapur’s impactful initiatives.

Was invited to speak on the nutritional and health benefits of local Neglected and Underutilized Species (NUS) crops and their potential role in promoting sustainable nutrition. An interesting and timely topic, especially as we look to diversify our food systems in response to climate and health challenges. The session, held at the Organic Haat Newtown, was organised by and a part of an initiative by DRCSC India (Development Research Communication and Services Centre), which is currently working on 9 such indigenous crops.

Feel honoured to receive the Award for "Excellence in Nutrition (Private) Practice" from the Indian Association for Parenteral & Enteral Nutrition, announced at the IAPEN India Clinical Nutrition Congress, Varanasi last month. I couldn’t be there to collect it in person, and I’m truly thankful to the conference committee for sending it over.
This recognition from a leading national professional body means a lot in a time when social media reach outweighs professional expertise. Thank you to India for acknowledging my commitment to evidence-based practice in a field increasingly flooded with social media fads, trends, and pseudoscientific advice. My sincere thanks to Doctors who always support my quest for scientific rigour in my practice by referring complicated cases.
