Dear Sir or Mam, we want disability people in Manipur to receive ₹6,000 disability per month. The current rate is ₹1,500, and everything has become so expensive that even basic household expenses are impossible. Private companies are generally reluctant to hire, and government jobs are not easily available. Therefore, everyone should be given ₹6,000; after all, other states already provide this amount. Under the new NTR Bharosa Pension Scheme, which came into effect in Andhra Pradesh from July 2024, the monthly pension amount for disabled people has been increased.
Under the new rates, information related to disability pension is as follows:

General Disability (40% or more disability): ₹6,000 per month.
Leprosy affected (leprosy with multiple deformities): ₹6,000 per month.
Totally disabled (totally disabled/wheelchair dependent): ₹15,000 per month (previously ₹5,000).

Important Information:
These increased pension rates are effective from April 1, 2024, and disbursements begin in July 2024.
