During pregnancy, maintaining a healthy diet is crucial for both you and your baby. Some foods should be avoided to ensure a safe and healthy pregnancy. Stay away from raw or undercooked seafood, eggs, and meats, as they can carry harmful bacteria or parasites. Unpasteurized dairy products and certain soft cheeses may also pose risks. High-mercury fish like swordfish and shark should be limited, and caffeine should be consumed in moderation. Additionally, processed foods, sugary snacks, and alcohol should be avoided to maintain overall health. Prioritize whole, nutritious foods to give your baby the best start! #PregnancyTips #HealthyEating

A father's role in pregnancy is important for the health of the mother and baby, and can have a positive impact on the child's development.
Maternal health:
Fathers can help ensure mothers receive appropriate medical care, and reduce negative health behaviors like smoking. They can also help reduce maternal stress and improve psychological well-being.
Birth outcomes
Fathers can help reduce the risk of preterm birth, low birth weight, and fetal growth restriction. They can also help with breathing and positioning during labor.
Infant health
Babies with involved fathers tend to have greater physical and mental health, higher self-esteem, and fewer behavioral problems. They are also more likely to be breastfed and placed to sleep safely.
Postpartum support
Fathers can provide emotional and practical support during the postpartum period.

Why does Ganpati wear yellow and red???
Ganesh part 2
Yellow is colour of stability, and red propells prosperity both are needed when we start something.
He wears "janeu" which signifies importance of knowledge.
He also wears ornaments signifying attention to finances.
Ganesh is deeply associated with water which is associated with fertility and prosperity, symbols like shankh and lotus 🪷 signify that.
Our deities are full of symbols that we need to understand with "आत्मबोध" self-awareness.

Why Ganpatiji is so cute?
Why is he the way he is???
Ganesh part 1
On the occasion of "Ananta chaturdashi" aka Ganesh Visarjan 🙏
Every devi devta has a certain form and every form "roop" has some significance.
Roop (image) of a deity is formed on the basis of devotee's hope.
So when a hungry, poor person looks for food and prosperity he looks at a healthy, cubby, joyful, childish ganesh who loves food.
And when the bhog of laddu is offered to him, the hope is to get the same in multifold.
And Ganpati's pot belly signifies the same. 🙏

‘Om’ is the primordial sound of consciousness and divine light.
A mantra is one more way for a pregnant woman to relax her mind and body. “On a really simple, surface level, it helps to focus and train your mind.
Often a mantra is thought rather than spoken. Although the baby in utero can’t hear the mom in that case, the calmness invoked with this thought has the same effect that all of these other practices have on the fetus.

Myth bursting for breastfeeding becomes a bit more important because it directly affects a newborn and the very first bond i.e. mother and baby.
Myth: It's usual for breastfeeding to hurt – sore nipples are inevitable. Many mothers experience discomfort in the first few days after birth when they are learning to breastfeed.
Myth: Small breasts cannot produce enough milk.
Breast size, or the amount of fatty tissue your breasts contain, does not affect these hormonal changes and therefore does not factor into milk production. Rest easy knowing that small cup size is no reason for concern. The amount of milk you produce is just a matter of supply and demand.
Myth: You shouldn't breastfeed if you're sick.
Depending on the kind of illness, mothers can usually continue breastfeeding when they're sick (on the contrary breastmilk provides antibodies to the child). You need to make sure you get the right treatment, and to rest, eat and drink well.
Myth: Formula milk is as good as breast milk.
Breastfed babies have fewer infections and hospitalizations than formula-fed infants. During breastfeeding, antibodies and other germ-fighting factors pass from a mother to her baby and strengthen the immune system. This helps lower a baby's chances of getting many infections.
As long as breast milk is available formula milk should be avoided.
Myth: Space out feeding to produce more milk.
Breastmilk production is determined by how well the baby is latched on to the breast, the frequency of breastfeeding and how well the baby is removing milk with each feeding.

Why express your breastmilk?
You may need to express if your baby is premature or sick, if your breasts are very full and
uncomfortable, to increase your milk supply, or if you are going back to work and another carer
needs to feed your baby. Keep practising if you find expressing hard work – your expressed
breastmilk is important for your baby. Skin to skin contact and being relaxed may help your milk
to let down which is when the milk starts to flow, and your supply to increase.
Breastmilk needs to be stored safely. Put your EBM in the refrigerator or freezer as soon as
you can after expressing. In the refrigerator, store EBM at the back where it is coldest – not in
the door.
