When basic movement feels like exercise, that’s the real problem.
We’ve built a lifestyle where sitting all day is normal. Desk jobs, cars, screens, and minimal movement have become the default. So much so that walking for 20 minutes now feels like an extra effort. But your body was never designed for this level of inactivity. Over time, this sedentary lifestyle leads to:
1. Muscle loss - weaker body, and slower metabolism.
2. Increased fat gain - especially around the belly.
3. Reduced cardiovascular fitness - higher risk of heart disease, low stamina.
Walking is a great starting point. But it shouldn’t be your only form of movement.
Practical approach is to keep daily steps high (7–10k) and add 3–4 strength training sessions weekly
Stay active throughout the day, not just during workouts!
