23 may : Director Health Services, Jammu Dr Abdul Hamid Zarger paid an official visit to the Chief Medical Officer (CMO) Office in Samba where he was welcomed by CMO Dr.Vidhi Bhatial, Medical superintendent and Block medical officers
During his visit, he conducted a detailed review of the health services and the functioning of various institutions across the district. He also gave his valuable input to help improve various programmes and for better functioning of the health institutions.
Later, DHS visited District Hospital Samba to assess its operation.. He inspected key facilities, including the emergency room, labour room, and immunisation room. He also visited the newly constructed Building in the hospital. Additionally he interacted with hospital staff and patients to understand their experiences and address concerns regarding healthcare services.
This visit aimed to evaluate the effectiveness of healthcare delivery in the district and ensure optimal functioning of medical facilities for the well-being of the residents.
