An asana speaks for itself and the practitioner!!

The turning of the neck, raising of the arm, bending of the back, opening of the chest, rotation of the hips and turning of the knee and ankle in trikonasana will surely help you to assess which part of the body is stressed or distressed!!🙃🙂

The gaze speaks of concentration and is an insight to the ongoing turmoil within oneself.💫

The alignment in the posture ( with body neither jutting backward nor forward) and the language of the limbs steals the show with that unmatchable poise and stability.🧘‍♀️

I started my yoga journey with the cosmopolitan pursuit of reducing weight. But my body was hesitant to lose weight, and so was my brain, to leave the practice. In the course of time, rather than losing something, I started gaining a lot more!! MORE WEIGHT??

No, No...😄

I started gaining 'myself' back, which was lost somewhere along the journey...
I started recognising dimensions of me which were lingering somewhere but remained hidden. I was becoming clear with my thoughts and my happiness, judgements, sorrows, anger, anxiety, and writing now found the right expressions 😊

Not only mentally, but physically I gained strength too. Exhaustion was shying away and 'Dard- e -Dil' ke saath 'Dard- e -Sharir' couldn't find the ground. I felt lively and energetic like never before!! 😃

And yes, as I had already stopped bothering about weight, it stopped to bother me too!! It came down on the weighing scale😀😃

Since then, the journey is on and it's adding up to life as a whole 😊
