Memories of the tears shed when no one watched;
Memories when you really felt loved and cared for):-

Revolved Half-Bound Lotus Pose - The pose challenges twist in half bound lotus posture.
It facilitates hip opening as well as chest opening.
It is a preparatory pose for Baddh Padmasana / Bound Lotus Pose.

The half bound lotus stimulates the digestive, reproductive, excretory system; and the twist work on the respiratory system.

The pose strengthens the core and releases the back.

Counter poses play a significant role in yoga asana practice.

Counter pose neutralizes the body alignment and restores balance after an opposing or intense pose.

They stretch and strengthen the opposing muscle groups, release tension and prevent injury.

Counter poses relax the body, bring calmness and restore energy.

For example, forward bends are counter poses to backbends.

Here, shashankasana is used as a counterpose to ushtrasana to relax the back muscles.

NOTE - There may be more than one counter poses to a particular yogasana.
Counter poses should be effectively practiced with the main postures.
