Dr. John PhD is a licence experienced board certified. I love my job as a psychologist as i enjoy seeing change in people. I have worked with over 100 patients in the last 4 years, I have taught thousands of students to use many of my techniques.
In 2019, I completed my doctorate and thesis for the Clinical Psychology at Manila, Philippines. As a student in the University of Santo Tomas, my specializations was mostly focused on visualization, Hypnotherapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Counseling.
I encourage those that come to me to pay close attention to how they feel both while we're meeting and afterwards. The most essential thing to me is that you discover someone who feels like a good fit since my style is not going to appeal to everyone.
I like to use the initial session with a client in one of two ways, and I'll ask you which one. I want to start getting to know you, and I want our time together to be fruitful. As we get to know one another, I'll give you the chance to ask me any practical questions you might have concerning our collaboration as well as inquiries about my background and approach to therapy.
It's also a chance for me to get to know you better as a whole and start to understand what you hope to achieve out of therapy. What about you do I need to know in order to comprehend your perspective? Do you have any prior therapeutic experience? If so, what made it worthwhile? What was lacking? These inquiries enable me to comprehend what you're seeking and determine whether I believe we can collaborate effectively. This can take up our entire first session with some people. Others want to begin working on the issue they are seeking therapy to address. It matters to me that you find counselling to be beneficial. For those who are eager to get starting right away, we start by asking about recent events and current concerns. After the first session, I follow up with everyone to see how they felt and to see if they have any additional questions about me or my work. We need to develop trust in order for therapy to be effective. It takes numerous sessions to develop trust. Our first meeting is an introduction and the start of building a relationship of trust.
