Current strain of Influenza Virus H3N2 is affecting many people with cold and cough. Most of these patients also get Red Eyes. Though not very serious, such Red Eyes must not be self treated. Prior consultation with your Ophthalmologist is necessary as such Red Eyes may sometimes affect your cornea and can blur your vision.

I feel motivated and encouraged to share this unique and extremely challenging case. This 47yrs old lady has Retinitis Pigmentosa along with cataract with broken zonules(due to accident in childhood). Also has Retinitis Pigmentosa associated Cystoid Macular Edema in Right Eye. She had almost no vision since last 15-20yrs. After a marathon surgery in both eyes, I could restore her vision upto 6/12. 😊🙏. More details shared on VIKAS EYE CARE website www.vikaseyecare.com
