45 year old male with a forgotten suprapubic catheter since 3 years. Did open cystolithotomy to remove the catheter and the large bladder stone. Was technically demanding as the bladder was very edematous and inflammed.
Take home nessage is stents and catheters in the body need to be periodically changed.
