With great humility & blessings of God I want to share with all my loved ones and dear friends that I am privileged & honoured that my Book titled as “EVIDENCE BASED PRACTICES FOR MANAGEMENT OF HIGH RISK PREGNANCY” was released by President Dr Hrishikesh Pai, Sec. Gen. Dr Madhuri, VPs &dignitaries from the National platform of FOGSI . I am extremely grateful to our President Dr Hrishikesh Pai for giving me this opportunity, respected Dr Meera Agnihotri for authenticating it by writing its ‘Foreword’. Heartfelt thanks to all the contributors , special thanks to Dr Pavika Lal , Asstt editor for working hard with me ,my lovely family & dear friends for constant encouragement and support throughout this endeavor.

It’s my privilege to share that the Medical Education Committee-FOGSI has organized one more physical programme on 20th January 2023, along with Kanpur Obs & Gynae Society(KOGS), Theme " ROLE OF ESTROGEN AND PROGESTERONE IN CLINICAL PRACTICES ". There was inauguration followed by word of blessings by Dr Meera Agnihotri.

In first session our learned speaker Dr Sneha Bhuyar presented her Topic-“ Progesterone in PTB”, expert comments by Dr Usha Goenka, Dr Kanchan Sharma,and Dr Neelam Mishra. Another presentation by Dr Yashodhara Pradeep on Topic – “Role Of Estrogen In Clinical Practices” in presence of chairpersons Dr Kiran Sinha, Dr Reeta Mittal, and Dr Neena Gupta.

In the second session there was an interesting interactive panel moderated by Dr Kiran Pandey and Dr Pavika Lal Panel on the topic of “LUTEAL PHASE DEFECT”. The esteemed stalwarts of the session were Dr Reshma Nigam, Dr Rekha Gupta, Dr Renu Gupta , Dr Renu Gehlot, Dr Rashi Misra, Dr Vineeta Awasthi and Dr Divya Dwivedi who gave their immense and invaluable inputs along with sharing of their experiences .

It was a good attendance with total no of 150 delegates. It turned out to be a successful educational event.

Congratulations Bengal Obs & Gynec Society, FOGSI for wonderful AICOG-2023, excellent Academics, very well organised and carefully designed programmes, great hospitality, lots of fellowship, meeting with many ex students, nice entertainments creating memories. Thanks Dr Pai President FOGSI for felicitation for contributions to “NA NA Anemia Programme” & Inaugurating ‘FOGSI FOCUS OF URINARY INCONTINENCE’ with Dr J B Sharma, Editor.
Actively participated throughout in MCM, CG Saraiya CME, and Medical education committee workshop. Privileged for opportunity of delivering guest lecture on “Preterm PPROM Diagnostic Dilemmas“, judging a session of research papers, participated in Public Forum BADLAV. Was actively involved in ICOG convocation. Most satisfying part was getting blessings at Dakshineswar temple and Kali temple.

It’s my privilege to share that the Medical Education Committee-FOGSI has organized another programme on virtual platform on 20th December 2022, Theme "MIND YOUR MENTAL HEALTH- FACE THE UPROAR ". It was very heartening that our dynamic president Dr Hrishikesh Pai, Sec Gen Dr Madhuri Patel joined this programme inspite of their very busy schedule and blessed us.
Our learned speakers Dr Debanjan Benerjee and Dr Poornima, both internationally acclaimed in their respective fields, gave a beautiful insight on a very sensitive topic of Mental Health of doctors as well as how the problem can be handled in a delicate manner. Dr Sheela Mane and Dr Roza Olyai gave their expert comments and highlighted the salient points.
There was an interesting interactive panel moderated by Dr Kiran Pandey. The stalwarts of the session were Dr Sampat Kumari, Dr Aswath, Dr Ashish Mukhopadhaya, Dr Abha Singh, Dr Pushpa, Dr Kasturi and Dr Shashi kabra who gave their immense and invaluable inputs along with sharing of their experiences and gave suggestions too. The main centre of attraction was audience poll which involved everyone throughout the session.
Dr Pavika Lal very smoothly conducted this educational event.
