The event began with an inspiring inaugural session, followed by a detailed introduction to breast carcinoma, its surgical anatomy, and epidemiological aspects presented by Dr. J.S. Bedi and Dr. S. Kaur.
A thought-provoking panel discussion on the types and classifications of breast cancer and their treatment implications was moderated by Dr. Asitava Debroy, with valuable inputs from Dr. B. Halder, Dr. N.R. Haldar, Dr. P. Ghosh, and Dr. S. Mukherjee.
In the clinical session, Dr. S. Chatterjee and Dr. Mala presented key insights on breast examination, imaging, and biopsy procedures.
The final CME lecture segment covered various management strategies of breast cancer — including early-stage, LABC, and ABC — delivered by Dr. S. Saha, Dr. S. Chatterjee, and Dr. P. Ghosh.
The day concluded with an open ‘Meet the Experts’ segment, where participants raised queries and discussed real-life case experiences.
A heartfelt thank you to all our distinguished faculty members, moderators, postgraduates, and attendees for their active participation and contribution to the academic environment.
