JOWAR

Jowar is a staple source of nutrition in arid areas , also known as Sorghum. It's profusely cultivated in areas of Asia and Africa.

Jowar is a gluten free grain and lower Glycemic Index millet that helps to treat and heal the body in various disciplines. Following are the benefits of Jowar :
1. Gluten free - For gluten intolerant patients (Celiac disease) and weight loss as well.
2. Rich in fibre - Gives early satiety.
3. Controls Blood Sugar Spikes - Since it's a complex carbohydrate it digests slowly and delays the release of glucose into the bloodstream.
4. High in Protein - 11 g per 100 g of Jowar.
5. Rich source of Iron - 3.5 mg per 100g of Jowar . Pairing jowar with a Vitamin C source gives maximum benefits.
6. Good for Bone Health - Rich source of Magnesium which also helps in Calcium absorption.
7. Helps in weight loss - High fibre reduces appetite by giving early satiety.
8. Cholesterol lowering effects - Lowers LDL levels and improves HDL levels, thereby reducing the risk of Cardiovascular diseases.
9. Improves digestive health - Improves conditions like diarrhoea, bloating, gastritis, and constipation.

Although the nutritional values of Jowar and Wheat are almost similar , but Jowar's extraordinary property like Low Glycemic Index and Gluten-Free nature makes Jowar a better substitute for Wheat.

Note - Jowar is an excellent source of nutrition for Diabetics.

Probiotics are live microorganisms that are intended to have health benefits when consumed. They are found in curd , yogurt, fermented foods, dietary supplements, etc.
These are good bacteria that help digest food, destroy disease-causing cells, or produce vitamins. Some of the bacteria are similar to those that naturally occur in our bodies. Most common bacteria are Lactobacillus and Bifidobacterium and most common yeast that act as a probiotic microbe is Saccharomyces boulardii.

Type 2 Diabetes can be reversed through dietary management and weight management. This way you will be able to normalise your blood glucose levels.
By losing weight or managing your weight , there are lower levels of fat accumulated in the pancreas which in turn helps the beta cells of the pancreas to release INSULIN and control blood sugar levels.🙂

Client diaries ❤️
Those who have been trying hard to lose weight with PCOD need to try some good diet practice and exercise (yoga) atleast 5 days in a week for atleast 30 minutes.
This lady was consistent with her routine and she achieved atleast 50 percent of it in 2 months. The remaining 50 percent might take a month or two. It's not at all difficult. You just need to get on the right track and start with your daily regime.
