This kid of 10 years came to our clinic for the rehab of Post Op tendon reconstruction surgery following deep cut of deep flexor tendon of the Rt little finger. At the time of initial assessment He was unable to move his little finger at all and muscle power was 2/5 . He was advised for Physiotherapy session for 2 wks and was treated with the following protocol
1) WAX BATH
2) DEEP TENDON FRICTION MASSAGE
3) JOINT MOBILISATION OF RT PIP AND DIP
4) STRENGTH TRAINING FOR RT HAND INTRINSIC MUSCLES
At the time of discharge he was completely pain free and was able to move his finger in all directions
