๐Ÿ‡Eating fruits is essential for a healthy lifestyle, but are you consuming them the right way? Here are 5 simple rules suggested by eminent dietitian, Reshmi Roy Chowdhury to maximize their benefits:

โฟก Limit your fruit intake to 100 to 150 grams per day. Because fruits contain fructose, which can ultimately increase your sugar levels and isn't low in calories either.

โฟข Never consume mixed fruits. Eat one type of fruit at a time. If you eat multiple fruits together, it can lead to severe indigestion, and you won't benefit from the nutrients in the fruits. Also, never mix sour and sweet fruits.

โฟฃ The best time to eat fruits is mid-morning, that is, between breakfast and lunch. Eating fruits at this time ensures the best utilization of their nutrients by your body.

โฟค Always chew fruits normally; don't drink fruit juice. When you drink juice, the fibre is destroyed, and the vitamins and minerals are lost, meaning your body doesn't absorb them.
