On Saturday, July 19, 2025, Anwesha Kolkata team held a on and for 48 health workers and the health camp's in-charge at Goragacha Health Centre, near Garia Station, Rajpur Sonarpur, South 24 Paraganas.

Early Identification of hearing loss can have a substantial impact on a child's linguistic and cognitive development. Our initiative aims to educate healthcare workers about the significance of newborn hearing screening and its role in promoting good hearing.

By empowering health workers with knowledge and skills, we can work together to ensure that every newborn receives the care they deserve.

#আন্তর্জাতিক_বধিরান্ধ_দিবস উপলক্ষ্যে গতকাল ডিসেবিলিটি এক্টিভিস্ট ফোরাম পশ্চিমবঙ্গ এবং কলকাতা সোসাইটি ফর এমপাওয়ারমেন্ট অফ দি ডিফারেন্টলি এবেল্ড এর যৌথ উদ্যোগে মনোবিকাশ কেন্দ্রে একটি সচেতনতামুলক অনুষ্ঠানের আয়োজন করা হয়।

এই অনুষ্ঠানে বিভিন্ন স্বেচ্ছাসেবী সংস্থার তরফে নানান প্রতিবন্ধকতাযুক্ত শিশু ও ব্যক্তিরা সক্রিয় ভাবে অংশগ্রহণ করে। অন্বেষা কলকাতা সেলফ এডভোকেসি গ্রুপ বন্ধু থেকে সৌরদীপ, স্নেহা এবং কৌশানী যোগদান করে।
