Despite the summer heat, our rooftop was buzzing with pure joy and creativity this week! We had the absolute pleasure of hosting an incredible -making workshop yesterday at 1:30 pm, led by two wonderful guest artists visiting all the way from Germany and Spain.

​Our amazing children with hearing loss, along with their parents, dived right into the magic of crafting. They didn't just learn how to transform simple paper into beautiful puppets— they unlocked a whole new way to share their stories!

​By moving their handmade puppets to demonstrate different actions, the children found a brilliant, expressive new tool for communication.

Watching the children use their dolls to express themselves was truly magical.

: Not even the hot weather could cool down the enthusiasm on the rooftop!

​Everyone left with a big smile, a beautiful doll, and memories that will last a lifetime. The requests are already rolling in, so stay tuned—more puppet-making magic is definitely on the horizon!

The skyline of Kolkata bore witness to a soulful tribute as Anwesha Kolkata celebrated the birth anniversary of Kaviguru Rabindranath Tagore. Our rooftop transformed into a vibrant cultural stage, bringing together a diverse heart-knit community to honor the legacy of the Great Bard.

The event was a beautiful testament to the power of melody and rhythm in bridging gaps. Around 70 participants graced the occasion, creating an atmosphere of warmth and unity.
The gathering included:

Children and persons with hearing impairment, who expressed Tagore’s philosophy through graceful movements and vibrations.

Devoted family members supporting their loved ones.

Dedicated special educators and staff of Anwesha.

Well-wishers from the community.

The program kicked off with a solemn homage to Tagore, followed by a series of performances that filled the air with "great fervour."

Songs & Recitations: The timeless words of Gitanjali and the soul-stirring notes of Rabindra Sangeet echoed across the rooftop.

Dance & Expression: Our students and members brought the songs to life through evocative dance performances, proving that art transcends all barriers of sound.

Community Spirit: From the youngest child to our senior-most well-wisher, everyone joined in to celebrate the spirit of "Biswakabi."

The event concluded with smiles, shared treats, and a renewed sense of belonging. We thank everyone who joined us in making this Rabindra Jayanti a memorable one!

আজ ৩১ তম আন্তর্জাতিক শব্দ সচেতনতা দিবস।

শব্দদূষণ, শব্দদূষণের ক্ষতিকারক দিকসমূহ, শব্দদূষণ রোধে করণীয় সম্পর্কে জনসাধারণকে সচেতন করা এবং সরকারের দায়িত্ব ও কর্তব্য তুলে ধরা এ দিবসের মূল উদ্দেশ্য। এই দিবসটির প্রতিপাদ্য- ‘প্রোটেক্ট ইয়োর ইয়ার, প্রোটেক্ট ইয়োর হেলথ’

শ্রবণশক্তি, স্বাস্থ্য এবং জীবনযাত্রার মানের উপর শব্দের ক্ষতিকর প্রভাব সম্পর্কে জানুন, সচেতন হোন এবং আপনার বাড়িতে ও এলাকায় ইতিবাচক পদক্ষেপ নেওয়ার জন্য অনুপ্রাণিত করতে পারেন।

​নিজের জন্য: আপনার শ্রবণশক্তি পরীক্ষা করান এবং সুস্থ শ্রবণ বিধি মেনে চলার অভ্যাস করুন। উদাহরণ, মিউজিক কনসার্টে যাওয়ার সময় অবশ্যই ইয়ারপ্লাগ (earplug) ব্যবহার করুন।

​প্রিয়জনের জন্য: আপনার সন্তানকে অতিরিক্ত শব্দের বিপদ সম্পর্কে শেখান। তাদের শ্রবণ সুরক্ষার উপকরণ উপহার দিন অথবা ফোনে সাউন্ড মিটার অ্যাপ ডাউনলোড করে সেটিকে ব্যবহার করতে বলুন।

​আপনার প্রতিষ্ঠানের জন্য: প্রতিষ্ঠানের সদস্য বা কর্মীদের জন্য শব্দ সচেতনতা বিষয়ক কর্মশালা আয়োজন করতে পারেন।

দিনের একটি নির্দিষ্ট সময়ে (যেমন দুপুর ২:১৫ থেকে ২:১৬) ১ মিনিটের নীরবতা পালন করে নীরবতার গুরুত্ব তুলে ধরুন।

​নাগরিকদের জন্য: শব্দ দূষণ কমাতে আইন পরিবর্তনের পক্ষে কথা বলুন, জনসমাগমস্থলে শান্ত জায়গা তৈরি করুন, শব্দ নিরোধক প্রযুক্তি ব্যবহার করুন এবং শহরের অতিরিক্ত শব্দ নিয়ন্ত্রণে পদক্ষেপ নিন।

নবজাতকের শ্রবণশক্তি পরীক্ষা নিয়ে সচেতনতা অভিযান

গতকাল রাজপুর সোনারপুর দক্ষিণ ২৪ পরগণার এলাচি, উখিলা ও জগদ্দল গোঠবেড়িয়া এলাকায় অন্বেষা কলকাতা (Anwesha Kolkata)-র পক্ষ থেকে এক বিশেষ সচেতনতা কর্মসূচির আয়োজন করা হয়েছিল।

গান, বাদ্যি আর পথনাটিকার মাধ্যমে আমরা সাধারণ মানুষের কাছে পৌঁছে দিয়েছি একটি অত্যন্ত জরুরি বার্তা: "শিশুর জন্মের পরপরই শ্রবণশক্তি পরীক্ষা (Hearing Screening) করানো কেন আবশ্যক? "

আমাদের দীর্ঘদিনের শুভাকাঙ্ক্ষী শ্রী Abhijit Ghosh মহাশয় এবং ওনার নাট্য কুশীলবদের নাটক প্রদর্শন, স্থানীয় বাসিন্দাদের স্বতঃস্ফূর্ত অংশগ্রহণ এবং ভালোবাসা আমাদের এই প্রচেষ্টাকে সার্থক করে তুলেছে।

মনে রাখবেন:
✅ জন্মের ঠিক পরেই শিশুর শ্রবণশক্তি পরীক্ষা করুন।
✅ সঠিক সময়ে শনাক্তকরণ শিশুর ভাষা বিকাশে এবং কথা বলায় সাহায্য করে।

আসুন, সচেতন হই এবং প্রতিটি শিশুর সুন্দর ভবিষ্যৎ নিশ্চিত করি।

গতকাল সারা পৃথিবী জুড়ে উদযাপিত হল #বিশ্ব_কণ্ঠ_দিবস ( )

আমাদের রোজকার জীবনের এক অবিচ্ছেদ্য অংশ হলো আমাদের কণ্ঠস্বর। ভাব বিনিময় থেকে শুরু করে আবেগ প্রকাশ—সবই সম্ভব হয় এই জাদুকরী ক্ষমতার মাধ্যমে। কিন্তু আমরা কি সত্যিই এর সঠিক যত্ন নিই?

পেশায় আপনি শিক্ষক হন, গায়ক বা বক্তা হন কিংবা সাধারণ চাকুরিজীবী— আপনার কণ্ঠ আপনার পরিচয় । সেই পরিচয় ধরে রাখতে হলে যত্ন নেওয়া বাধ্যতামূলক। তাই আজ থেকে শপথ নিন নিজের স্বরযন্ত্রকে ভালো রাখার।

কণ্ঠের যত্নে কয়েকটি সহজ টিপস:

🔹 সবচেয়ে সহজ এবং কার্যকর উপায় হলো পর্যাপ্ত জল পান করা। আপনার ভোকাল কর্ডগুলোকে আর্দ্র বা 'হাইড্রেটেড' রাখতে সারা দিন অল্প অল্প করে জল খাওয়ার অভ্যাস করুন। এতে গলার পেশিগুলো সচল থাকে এবং কণ্ঠস্বরে কর্কশভাব আসে না

🔹 অতিরিক্ত চিৎকার বা জোরে কথা বলা থেকে বিরত থাকুন

🔹 ধূমপান ও ধূলাবালি এড়িয়ে চলুন

🔹 দীর্ঘদিন কণ্ঠ ভাঙা বা কথা বলতে সমস্যা হলে বিশেষজ্ঞের পরামর্শ নিন

আপনার কণ্ঠের যত্ন নিন, সুস্থ থাকুন।

আসুন, আমাদের এই অমূল্য সম্পদের গুরুত্ব বুঝি এবং একে সুস্থ রাখি। সবাইকে বিশ্ব কণ্ঠ দিবসের শুভেচ্ছা! ❤️
