Karkkidaka Kanji, also known as medicinal porridge, is a traditional Ayurvedic dietary preparation consumed mainly during the Malayalam month of Karkkidakam (July–August). This time is considered a weak and vulnerable period for health, especially in Kerala, due to heavy rains and low immunity.
