Bipha Ayurveda is a premium health & beauty brand that offers a range of ayurvedic & natural products.
Bipha is an organization founded in 1929 by a gifted physician Shri Koshy Varghese popularly known as Pappy Vaidyan with a social cause to alleviate the misery and pain of people suffering from diseases.
Our founder had the foresight and vision to choose Ayurveda for his mission and set up S.G.A pharmacy as a small clinic and pharmacy in Oachira - a small hamlet south of Kerala.
He traversed from there by foot and relocated to Pinnakanadu in Central Travancore and subsequently to Kottayam to set up Bipha.
Bipha, the company, is unique in its vision right from its inception in 1929. The journey and mission of Bipha were very entwined with that of its founder.
Bipha was one of the early innovators in Ayurveda and had launched the first Ayurveda proprietary formulation - Blood in Draksha in the 1930's - which became a successful brand and took the company to greater heights.
The first modern manufacturing plant was set up in 1951 in Ettumanoor, Kerala.
In 1971, Bipha was one of the first companies to develop a tablet formulation of a Kashaya (bitter liquid decoction of herbs). The greatest contribution of Bipha to the science of Ayurveda was this development and it is still considered the pioneer in modern Ayurveda formulations in Kerala.
Today, Bipha has expanded to be one of the largest manufacturers of modern Ayurveda formulations.
Bipha Ayurveda, an authentic premium health and beauty brand, was launched in 2011 that has outlets across all leading airports in India.
Bipha has 4 product divisions - premium health and beauty products, health care products, wellness products, and consumer products catering to the different segments of the market.
Quality is key to all its processes. The company has a strong R&D as well.
Bipha is compliant with ISO, G.M.P, Halal, ISO 19076 certifications and is also a recipient of several prestigious awards.
The organization has a strong presence in 14 countries and has a significant presence in the online space as well.

Over the years, Bipha has expanded its original range of classical Ayurveda products to include many more products that hybridize Ayurveda and indigenous knowledge/folk medicine. Over the last decade, we have also added many natural products that incorporate non-ayurvedic botanicals but capture the essence of Ayurveda’s principle of holistic healing. We have also metamorphosed our products into formats that suit modern-day lifestyles like creams, fragrances, floral waters, lotions, and body butters.
