A gathering for all Mhat people to share love and reconnect. Many of us haven't gathered for a long time; now here we are again rejoining and making our bonds stronger.

'A gathering of being at ease' went really well.
It was a wonderful mindfulness session with zen approach, Jonathan took us into a calm and peaceful state with his humble guidance. It felt really easy and comfortable to follow; his guidance felt as a converse with our inner world.
He shared a wonderful zen story which everyone enjoyed and provoked us to think deep of life's uncertainty as a curious element and non hostile factor.

Participants felt the experience as a good reminder for slowing down and being mindful in every day life. We had a good interaction with concluding that we must have a small mindfulness time in every day life; even maybe half an hour. It was a good inspiration from Jonathan, his calm and regulated energy really made an impact.
Thanks to Jonathan for his presence and energy.

We are looking forward to having more sessions with Jonathan...

We’re always rushing through our work, office, and commitments, so we’re planning a mindful evening for you to help you slow down and ease your mind and soul. Jonathan, a Zen practitioner, will lead a guided meditation incorporating Zazen practices. With expertise in various wisdom traditions, including Sufism, Zen, and Buddhism, Jonathan left a corporate career to explore inner peace and meaningful living. Now, he’s sharing his insights with us to help us cultivate mindfulness and calm.

Journaling is a practice similar to that of keeping a diary. It is a means of expressing yourself unabashedly without any filters and in any form that one likes - drawing, doodles, painting, writing, newspaper cutting, plant or flower pressing etc.

I welcome you to be part of a 3 hours long journaling exercise on May 31, 2025 from 4:30 pm to 7:30 pm which aims to celebrate “shared spaces” as a means to create safe spaces and find new friendships. Through this session you may or may not improve focus, or be able to flush out pent up emotions, but this will for sure involve having fun and inspire playfulness.

The workshop will be facilitated by Meera Nazer, a lawyer and economist by profession but an artist in yearning. She believes that it is important to ensure that art is learned and performed for joy and connection, than discrimination. She recently completed her breast cancer treatment at MVR Cancer Centre, Kozhikode and art helped her re-connect with herself and not fall into the pit of depression and pain caused by the treatment. She maintained a journal in which she sketched, painted, wrote, pasted stickers and washi tapes etc as a means of expressing her emotions at different points in the treatment journey.

This session will be accomodative of all the weirdness that humans are made of and be mindful of celebrating it than shaming anyone. We will not be making high-art but engage in creating art that debunks perception of art as something accessible to a certain caste, class or segment.

Experience the magic of words with Noushad Mash, All are welcome!!

Have you ever heard a good story that can awaken your meaning and purpose in life? The stories that touch your heart and somehow console your misery. A good story won't give you instructions on what to do in life, and it won't give you any lessons that can be taught. But it awakens something within you that might have been there all this time; a good story allows you to see it. And you don't have to do anything about it; you just have to be aware.

Listening to a story is perhaps the most unserious thing in this world. When it's story time, we put aside all our busy work, lean back, and get excited to let our imagination be taken by the stories. We did it when we were kids with our grandparents, and we still can as adults.

For an impactful story, the speaker is just as important as the story itself. The storyteller, who has wandered within the stories many times through his imagination, can only be told as if he is witnessing the story while he shares it. The depth of the stories, for us to feel it, must be conveyed by someone who doesn't get bored by hearing and sharing the chosen stories over and over again.

M. Noshad (IG: .noushaad ),dearly known as Noushad Mash) is a writer and speaker ready to share his favorite mystic and true stories, which hold deep human emotions and depth in simple tales. He is a warm and composed human being who is passionate about human life and its dynamics. He believes his purpose is to add a little kindness and compassion within himself and others.
