It's prepared from the almonds of those trees which are in their native species and record their ancestry in Kashmir from centuries. Our almond oil is prepared from those mamra almonds which are bitter in taste as bitter mamra almonds contain very high amount of Oil content as compared to sweet mamras but are not consumed due to bitterness, it's bitterness must not be misunderstood by the bitterness due to cyanide in other types of Almonds.

There are two major types of Walnuts. Persian walnuts originated in Iran and black walnuts are native to North America. Black walnuts have hard shell and poor hulling. The Persian walnuts is developed for its different qualities and is used commercially. Walnuts were known as Royal nuts in Roman empire. The thin seed coat of walnut seeds contain high amounts of antioxidants and protect oil rich seed from rancidity. In Kashmir it's grown in Shopian, Pulwama, Budgam and some parts of Srinagar. It's very unique and varieties of trees have different tastes of Mamras but they all have high amount of oil content 40 to 50% and crisp. Its crispiness gave it name Mamra. Its production is only 2-3% of world almond production. Mamra almonds are symbol of Royal status, as years ago it was used by kings and their families only. It is easy to peel off its seed coat in some varieties of mamra, after soaking overnight. It is found to be germinating if soaked for long time and under favourable conditions which indicates power and viability of seed and its nutrients. Its organic cultivation, without the use of chemicals make it much more healthier while California Almonds are sweeter due to chemical processing and California Almonds are grown on chemical fertilizers. Kashmiri Mamra is also called as King of almonds.

Shilajit, the name came from Sanskrit word 'Shila' meaning Rock and 'Jeet' means the one who won over it, which collectively means 'the master of rocks' as the Shilajit is gathered from rocks in the harsh mountain ranges of Himalayas. It is formed by decomposition of specific plants by action of microorganisms in centuries long process. This decomposed material become rock like and are saved in cracks in mountains, which are gathered by hard work from the high terrains of Nubra Valley and these raw rocks are converted to pure forms by a traditional process in Kashmir.
