A proud yet deeply emotional moment… 🇮🇳
The Government of India has conferred the Kirti Chakra (Posthumously) upon our braveheart — Lt Shashank Tiwari.
He was not just my student…
He was like a younger brother —
a true soldier who lived by the highest ideals of courage, leadership, and selfless service.
Lt Shashank’s sacrifice in Sikkim on 22 May 2025 reminds us what it truly means to wear the Olive Green —
to protect, to serve, and if needed… to give it all for the nation.
For us at Centurion Defence Academy,
this honour is not just a recognition — it’s an emotion.
His spirit will continue to inspire every defence aspirant who dreams to serve Bharat Maa.
Lt Shashank Tiwari – Kirti Chakra (Posthumous)
The pride of Ayodhya.
The pride of Centurion.
The pride of India. 🇮🇳
Jai Hind. 🙏🫡

I am deeply heartbroken by the untimely passing of NDA Cadet Antriksh Kumar Singh — a bright, disciplined, and dedicated young soul who left us far too soon.
Through this message, I want to express not only my grief but also my concern. I strongly demand a fair and transparent investigation, accountability, and a renewed focus on mental health support for all defence aspirants and cadets across India.
A life so full of promise has been lost, but his story must continue to echo in every training academy, reminding us that strength is not just physical — it’s emotional and mental too.
As the Founder and Chief SSB Mentor of Centurion Defence Academy, I feel a deep responsibility to speak up. This tragedy compels me to ask some hard but necessary questions:
Why are mental health and emotional well-being still overlooked in our defence training institutions?
Shouldn’t our future officers have access to trained psychologists and counsellors, just as they have physical trainers and mentors?
How can we, as a nation, ensure that such heartbreaking incidents never happen again?
With the utmost respect and admiration for the Indian Armed Forces, I urge the Ministry of Defence and all concerned authorities to take meaningful action — to not only investigate this incident thoroughly but also to introduce structured mental health programs in academies like NDA, INA, and IMA.
It’s time we build a defence ecosystem where discipline meets empathy, and where every cadet feels supported — in body, mind, and spirit.

Tribute to NDA Cadet Antriksh Kumar Singh
It is deeply unfortunate and profoundly heartbreaking to hear about the sudden and tragic loss of Cadet Antriksh Kumar Singh — an exceptionally intelligent, disciplined, and cheerful young man who cleared the NDA examination in his very first attempt, while still preparing for his Class 12th under my mentorship.
He was among the brightest students I had the privilege to guide — so talented that he had also qualified for the Flying Branch of the Indian Air Force as a potential pilot. Losing such a capable and determined cadet at this young age is an irreparable loss not only to his family but also to the entire defence fraternity.
As someone who has been mentoring NDA aspirants and serving cadets for years, I sincerely urge the NDA authorities to continue strengthening focus on the emotional and psychological well-being of cadets. More qualified psychologists should be deployed within the Academy who can engage with cadets like friends — ensuring that they have someone to share their feelings and challenges with, without affecting the discipline or standards of military training.
I regularly interact with several cadets who sometimes go through emotional or mental struggles. Whenever such students or their parents reach out, I make it my personal duty to counsel and motivate them, appreciating their courage and sacrifice in choosing a life dedicated to national service — a path that demands unmatched dedication and inner strength.
At the same time, I request everyone — especially those commenting on social platforms — not to disrespect the National Defence Academy or our Indian Armed Forces or to question their training standards. Unfortunately, some voices without proper understanding of the subject are attempting to create unnecessary controversy. I have full trust in our investigating agencies and the Armed Forces, who will certainly uncover the truth, identify any possible wrongdoing, and ensure that justice is delivered to my dear student, Antriksh Kumar Singh.
Let us continue to respect and uphold the dignity of our Armed Forces and premier institutions like the National Defence Academy, which for decades has been the cradle of military leadership and the pride of our nation.
I also appeal to the Ministry of Defence to ensure a fair and transparent investigation, to give every possible support to Antriksh’s parents, to record their honest statement with sensitivity, and to ensure they receive all due entitlements and service benefits as the family of an officer cadet.
Having personally met his family during this time of grief, I pray for their strength and healing, and for Antriksh’s noble soul to rest in eternal peace.
To every cadet, trainee, or defence aspirant reading this — please remember, you are not alone. If you ever feel emotionally burdened or in need of guidance, you may reach out to me directly at 9795977776 or write to info@shishirdixit.com.
As a psychologist and mentor, I treat such matters with utmost care, priority, and confidentiality — helping individuals and families find strength, balance, and clarity during tough times.
Together, let us create a system where mental health, empathy, and emotional resilience stand proudly beside courage and discipline — ensuring that no young life is ever lost to silence.
🕊️ Rest in Peace, dear Antriksh. You will always be remembered with pride, respect, and love. 🇮🇳
