WCMN 2025 – A Global Success in Medical Nutrition

The International Society for Medical Food and Nutrition (ISMN) extends heartfelt gratitude to all delegates and speakers for making the 5th World Congress on Medical Nutrition 2025, Vietnam, a resounding success.

The congress featured thought-provoking sessions, highlighted by the Global Expert Talk by Dr. Khine Pwint, whose insights inspired new directions in medical nutrition and digital innovation.

We were also proud to confer the ISMN Honorary Fellowship upon Dr. Vidya Sundareshan (SIU School of Medicine, Chicago) for her exemplary contributions to global nutrition and public health.

The Global Consensus Meetings on Medical Food and Nutrition in Health, Non-Communicable Diseases (NCDs), and Communicable Diseases (CDs) brought together leading experts to develop unified frameworks for advancing nutrition-based health strategies.

*Food as Medicine: ISMN 2025 Sets New Benchmarks in Clinical Nutrition*

Over 100+ experts, researchers, scholars, and clinicians came together at *Kalam Centre, KGMU, Lucknow* on 21st September 2025 for a landmark event hosted by the *International Society for Medical Food & Nutrition (ISMN) and the Department of Biochemistry, KGMU.*

The *Pre-Conference Live Certification Workshops & ISMN Awards & Fellowship Ceremony 2025* delivered powerful insights into clinical nutrition, neuro-nutrition, pediatric care, oncology nutrition, and metabolic health, dignitaries in Attendance included *Chief Guest, Prof. MLB Bhatt* (Director, Kalyan Singh Super Speciality Cancer Institute & Hospital).

Workshop sessions were led by top voices in the field, including: *Dr. Poonam Tiwari* (Head, Dietetics, Dr. RMLIMS), *Dt. Archana Sinha* (Senior Dietitian, SGPGI), *Dr. D. K. A major highlight was the felicitation of *Prof. C. M. Singh* (Director, Dr. RMLIMS) with the prestigious _*ISMN M.S. Swaminathan Oration 2025*_ for his outstanding contributions to medical science and nutrition.

The event also marked a historic milestone with the launch of the _*ISMN Medical Food Registry*_, the world’s first global platform for documenting the clinical use, safety, and outcomes of medical foods, led by *Dr. Ksh*tij Bhardwaj.*

The day concluded with the ISMN Awards & Fellowship Ceremony, celebrating pioneers and rising leaders in medical food and nutrition.
