अज्ञानी का प्रेम,ज्ञानी का क्रोध

अज्ञानी का प्रेम हानिकारक हो सकता है परन्तु ज्ञानी का क्रोध हानिकारक नहीं है। वह केवल हितकर ही हो सकता है।

अदाहरण के लिए हमारे बंगलौर आश्रम के विद्यालय में २५० बच्चें भर्ती है लेकिन प्राय २०० बच्चे ही पढ़ने आते है। ५० बच्चे आते ही नहीं। जानते हो क्यों? वे घर पर रोकर कहते है," माँ ! मैं स्कूल नहीं जाना चाहता।" माँ कहती है, "ठीक है बेटा, तू रो मत। " वह सोचती है कि दुनिया का कोई भी बच्चा उसके बच्चे जैसा है ही नहीं। वह बच्चे का पक्ष लेकर बोलने लगती है, अध्यापक के दृष्टिकोण को नहीं देखती। तो क्या होता है ? बच्चा बिगड़ जाता है। बच्चे को कभी अक्षर का ज्ञान नहीं होगा, वह कभी पढ़ना-लिखना नहीं सीखेगा। फिर भी माँ कहती है, "कोई बात नहीं; भेड़ो को चराना है, खेतों की देखभाल भी तो करनी है।" माँ का प्रेम, अज्ञानतावताश, बच्चे को बिगाड़ता है।

दूसरी तरफ,
ज्ञानी का क्रोध आशीर्वाद है।
पुराणों में इस विषय पर अनेक उदाहरण है। एक बार एक गुरु भारत के मध्यभाग में कहीं यात्रा कर रहे थे। उनका एक शिष्य उनके पीछे चल रहा था। कुछ दुष्ट बच्चो ने शिष्य पर पत्थर फेंकना शुरू किया।वे उसे चिढ़ाने लगे और गाली देने लगे। वे गुरु और शिष्य के पीछे हो लिए और ऐसे ही कुछ समय तक चलता रहा।

वे सब एक नदी के तट पर पहुँचे। नदी पार करने के लिए गुरु और शिष्य एक नव पर बैठे। बच्चे भी दूसरी नाव पर बैठ गए। बीच नदी में पहुचकर उनकी नाव डूबने लगी।

गुरु ने शिष्य के गाल पर तमाचा लगाया। शिष्य चकित रह गया क्योंकि बच्चों के जवाब में उसने एक शब्द भी नहीं कहा था। वह समझ नहीं सका कि इतना अच्छा शिष्य होने पर भी गुरु ने उसे क्यों मारा?

गुरु ने कहा, "यह सब तुम्हारा दोष है। उनकी नव डूबने के लिए तुम जिम्मेदार हो। तुमने उनके बुरे शब्दों का कोई उत्तर नहीं दिया। क्योंकि तुममें इतनी दया नहीं थी कि तुम उनके बूरे शब्दों को रोको, इसलिए प्रकृति ने अब उन्हें इतना कठोर दण्ड दिया है।"
गुरु के तमाचे ने इस घटना के बुरे कर्मों से बच्चों के भावी जीवन को प्रभावित होने से बचा लिए। साथ ही बच्चों की नाव डूबते देखकर शिष्य के मन में आए आनन्द को दूर कर दिया। इस प्रकार शिष्य को भी इस घटना के कर्म से बचा लिया। अतः , ज्ञानी का क्रोध भी आशीर्वाद है।

You cannot save anyone. You can be present with them, offer your groundedness, your sanity, your peace. You can even share your path with them, offer your perspective. But you cannot take away their pain. You cannot walk their path for them. You cannot give answers that are right for them, or even answers they can digest right now.
