The belief that you must earn love is not who you are.
It’s what the little girl/ boy within you learnt how to survive and feel belonged.
It forms when connection felt conditional, when being “good,” quiet, helpful, or impressive became the way you stayed safe or have attention which could have naturally come to you.
Your inner child learned: Love is something I work for.
So you performed. You pleased. You became who others needed.
And now, either by over giving - emotionally or financially .. you’ve learned that I’ll have to EARN Love! 🧡
Healing is teaching that child something new.
“You don’t have to earn love” is not just a mindset shift—it’s a nervous system repair.🧡
It’s your inner child learning:
🧡I can rest and still belong.
🧡I can be messy and still be held.
🧡I can exist without performing.
