Pharmacy is concerned with every aspect of drugs and medicines, their synthesis or isolation manufacture ,control, distribution and use

Pharmacy is the health profession and Pharmacists are healthcare professionals with specialised education and training who perform various roles to ensure optimal health outcomes for their patients through proper medication use. Pharmacists are also concerned with production of pharmaceutical products, development of the methods or processes of production and quality control. Those in research concern themselves with synthesis of new drugs (what is commonly referred to as New Molecular Entities -NME’s), new processes, clinical testing of the effects of such drugs on animals and humans, and obtaining the required license from the drug control authorities. A pharmacist is required to explain the mode and precautions regarding the use of medicines dispensed in a hospital pharmacy, prepare special formulations normally not available in the market, assist the physician inrendering necessary information about various drugs, their contra-indications, incompatibility etc

👁️‍🗨️ World Sight Day Rally – Spreading Awareness for a Clearer Tomorrow!

On 19th October 2025, students of Aditya Bangalore Institute of Pharmacy Education and Research (ABIPER), accompanied by staff member Mr. Manju, participated in the World Sight Day Rally organized by the NSS Cell of RGUHS at Cubbon Park, Bengaluru.

The rally emphasized the importance of eye health, preventing avoidable blindness, and the need for regular eye check-ups. ABIPER students joined hands with participants from various institutions, holding placards and raising slogans to advocate for vision care and eye donation. 👓

Their active involvement showcased a strong sense of social responsibility and community engagement, inspiring everyone to value the gift of sight and contribute towards a brighter, healthier future. 🌟
