Extra Time With Dr-Gaurav Bhardwaj Born and brought up in Kullu. Social Activist. Assistant Professor/Coach Football HP University Shimla

Dr Gaurav Bharadwaj, the founder of NGO YATN (Youth Association for Transforming Nation) is a social activist and a national level Football Player.His NGO got recognition at the state level as well and has been awarded by the CM of H.P .He is advisor to SAMPHIA foundation & also worked with many sports Associations i.e Kullu Football Association ,H.P State Football Association ,District Athletics Association & Kullu Cycling Association. Gaurav has done PhD in Physical Education from Himachal Pradesh University, Shimla. He also has a Diploma in Soccer coaching from NIS Patiala and also a AIFF D licence coach,along with IPSO Scouting course, Futsal Introductory course from AIFF.He also did diploma in Mass Communication from HPU and worked with some renowned media broadcasters and publications.Presently he is persuing Diploma in Sports Journalism from LNIPE and working as Assistant Professor/Coach Football with Himachal Pradesh University Shimla.

हिमाचल प्रदेश में फुटबॉल की यह स्थिति निश्चित रूप से चिंताजनक है, खासकर जब यह राज्य भारतीय फुटबॉल इतिहास में इतना महत्वपूर्ण स्थान रखता है। शिमला में डूरंड कप और ऑल इंडिया फुटबॉल फेडरेशन (AIFF) की स्थापना हुई थी, जो भारतीय फुटबॉल के शुरुआती स्तंभों में से एक हैं। यह दुखद है कि वर्तमान में हिमाचल फुटबॉल संघ द्वारा स्पोर्ट्स कोड और AIFF की रेगुलेशन की अनदेखी की जा रही है।

इस तरह की मनमानी और असंगतता से राज्य के फुटबॉल का विकास अवरुद्ध हो सकता है, जिससे खिलाड़ियों के विकास और अंतरराष्ट्रीय स्तर पर राज्य की पहचान पर नकारात्मक प्रभाव पड़ता है। यह आवश्यक है कि फुटबॉल संघ अपने संविधान, स्पोर्ट्स कोड, और AIFF की गाइडलाइंस का पालन करे ताकि हिमाचल प्रदेश में फुटबॉल का पुनरुत्थान हो सके और राज्य फिर से राष्ट्रीय और अंतरराष्ट्रीय स्तर पर अपनी पहचान बना सके।
