A week-long free naturopathy health campaign was organized across Dakshina Kannada district on the occasion of National Naturopathy Day by Yenepoya Naturopathy and Yogic Science College & Hospital. The initiative aimed to promote awareness about natural healing practices and offer free consultations and basic naturopathy treatments to the public. Camps were conducted in seven locations—Belma, Police Lane Mangalore, Talapady, Krishnapura, B.C. Road, Adur, and Vittla. The response from the community was highly encouraging, with more than 500 patients availing the benefits of consultation, therapeutic guidance, lifestyle counselling, and awareness sessions.
The week-long activities concluded with the celebration of the 8th National Naturopathy Day on 18th November. The formal program was graced by Dr. Vinutha Pai as the Guest of Honour and Dr. Akhila Vinod as the Chief Guest. The event was presided over by Dr. Puneeth Raghavendra, Principal, Yenepoya Naturopathy and Yogic Science College & Hospital. The celebration included an inaugural ceremony, insightful addresses by the dignitaries highlighting the importance of naturopathy and yogic practices in daily life.
The campaign and the National Naturopathy Day celebration collectively contributed to creating greater awareness about holistic health and natural healing. The wholehearted participation of faculty, students, volunteers, and the public contributed to the success of the event and reinforced the institution’s commitment to community health and wellness.
