A free orthopedic Medical Camp was conducted at Kottarakara Jubilee Mandiram and Auditorium on Gandhi Jayanti Day (2nd October 2021). The camp was conducted jointly by St. Thomas Mission Hospital, Kattanam and Jubilee Manidram Pain and Palliative Care, Kottarakara. A medical team under the leadership of Dr. Jerry Mathew consulted nearly 200 patients at the camp. The Medical camp was inaugurated by Rt. Rev Dr. Theodosius Mar Thoma Metropolitan, president of Mar Thoma Medical Mission. Rev. Shibu Samuel, secretary of Mar Thoma Medical Mission and superintendent of Jubilee Mandiram Kottarakara welcomed the gathering. Respected dignitaries Cine actor Mr. Manu Varma, Mr. A Shaju (Councilor, Kottarakara), Rev. M P Solomon (Administrator, Kattanam Hospital), Rev Vinoy Daniel (Diocese secretary), Rev. Mathew P John addressed the gathering. We thank Rev Suresh Varghese, Rev. Jithin Mathews, and youth volunteers from the diocese for their invaluable support. We believe the camp was a blessing for many and would like to initiate further medical camps.
