Morning joint stiffness can affect people of all ages, but it's especially common among those with arthritis or sedentary lifestyles. This condition may feel minor at first, but if left unaddressed, it can interfere with your mobility and daily function. Consistent stiffness might be a sign of an underlying joint or bone issue that needs medical evaluation. As an orthopedic surgeon, I encourage individuals to listen to their bodies and seek expert advice when discomfort persists. Remember, early care and the right habits can help maintain long-term joint health and prevent complications in the future. Stay informed, stay active.

I’ve seen many patients recover brilliantly after joint surgery—but also some who struggle due to simple, avoidable mistakes. Recovery is just as important as the surgery itself. Skipping physiotherapy, ignoring swelling or pain, or doing too much too soon can delay healing and cause complications.

My goal is not just to operate, but to guide you towards complete, pain-free recovery. Let’s work together to avoid these pitfalls and get you back on your feet—stronger than before.

As an orthopedic surgeon, I often treat patients with common sports injuries that can seriously affect mobility if ignored. 🏃‍♂️ Whether you’re a professional athlete or just enjoy regular workouts, it’s essential to understand injuries like ACL tears, meniscus injuries, and rotator cuff tears. These injuries can lead to long-term pain, instability, and even joint degeneration if left untreated.

I always advise my patients: never ignore swelling, stiffness, or persistent discomfort after activity. Early diagnosis through clinical evaluation and imaging helps us decide the right course of treatment—be it physiotherapy, arthroscopy, or surgery.

Your joints are meant to keep you moving—let’s not let an injury hold you back. Stay proactive, train smart, and seek professional help when needed.

I’m Dr. Anil Kapoor, Orthopedic Surgeon, and I’m here to help you understand and prevent common running injuries that affect many individuals—whether you're training daily or just enjoy occasional runs. Injuries such as hip flexor strain, hamstring strain, Achilles tendonitis, shin splints, knee pain, and plantar fasciitis can develop slowly or strike suddenly due to overuse, improper form, or lack of warm-up.

If you feel recurring pain in any of these areas, it’s your body’s way of warning you. Ignoring it can lead to long-term damage. The good news? Most of these injuries are preventable with proper training techniques, stretching, recovery, and early medical intervention.

My advice: listen to your body, never skip warm-ups and cool-downs, wear proper footwear, and consult a specialist if discomfort persists.

Understanding different types of bone fractures can help you identify injuries early and seek timely treatment. From common hairline cracks caused by stress to serious open fractures where the bone pierces the skin, each fracture type needs a unique approach. Children often suffer greenstick fractures, while adults may face spiral, transverse, or comminuted fractures due to trauma or accidents. Knowing these can prevent complications and ensure proper healing. Stay informed, stay safe—and never ignore bone pain or injury. Early diagnosis is key to faster recovery!
