Debriefing of Pre-CRM visit Monitoring Team :
A debriefing session was held under the chairmanship of Dr.Takosunep Ao Dy.CMO Mokokchung.
The members discussed the findings and observation, Challenges from the recent CRM supportive and supervision visit undertaken as part of the preparations for the CRM by the District Team.
The Monitoring team comprised of DPM NHM, Consultant UPHC, BPMs, BACs, BAMs.Altogether 43(forty three) health units of 6 (six) Blocks were monitored.

Health Camp held at MMC Complex,Mokokchung
During the observance of District Level Padyatra activities on the occasion of 150th birth anniversary of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel from 31st October-25th November 2025,Department of Health & Family Welfare,Mokokchung organized a Health Camp on 12th November 2025 at MMC Complex, Mokokchung.
A total of 104 beneficiaries were screened for Non Communicable diseases and medicines were also distributed.
It is to be mentioned that under District level Padyatra activities a total of 5 (five) Health Camps will be conducted in both urban and rural areas by the health department.
The next NCD screening Camp will be held on 15th of November 2025 at MMC complex whereby NCD screening for Blood Pressure, Diabetes, Anemia etc will be conducted targeting both the vendors as well as the shoppers.

Two days Workshop for Hospital Staff of IMDH, Mokokchung held
Dr.Imkongliba Memorial District Hospital, Mokokchung in Collaboration with Eagle Crest Training Academy and Consultancy,Dimapur organized two days hospitality workshop from 11th-12thNovember 2025 under the theme” United In Purpose, Caring Beyond Duty” at Multipurpose Hall, IMDH, Mokokchung.
The initiative aimed at enhancing and providing the highest standard of patient centred care and strengthening team unity, is designed to improve patient care, satisfaction, safety and compliance and also to improve overall workplace efficiency and to reduce patient conflicts and mitigate litigation risks by improving communication, empathy and teamwork skills.
The Workshop focuses on the core principles of hospitality tailoring them to a health care environment. All hospital staffs coming in direct contact with patients participated in the workshop including clinical, administrative and support teams.
Delivering her keynote address Dr.AdemlaTinu Medical Superintendent, IMDH said “Communication gaps and other communication issues can lead to poor overall health care efficiency, patient dissatisfaction and even patient safety risks.” She further stated, the workshop is not just to polish speaking skills but also to transform how health care workers interact at every level, boosting empathy, engagement, mutual respect and teamwork.
Dr.Ademla also mentioned that “our staff is the backbone of the hospital and investing in their communication and team work skills is an investment in patient wellbeing”. She added that the workshop will not only create a more positive work environment but also directly influence patient’s emotional and psychological health which is crucial for their recovery.
Miss. AllinAwomi, Operations Head &HR, ECTAAC while appreciating the Organizing team from IMDH, mentioned that the workshop was first of it’s kind in a Government Health Care facility in the state.
Resource persons Miss.Asheli, Aviation Trainer cm Trainer Team leader, ECTAAC and Miss. AyaniKikon, Soft Skill Trainer cm Editor-in-Chief trained the participants onpatient priority handling, Clear communications skills and team work to build strong connections, solve problems faster and achieve goals together.
The Workshop was held in 3 (three)Batches.
The hospital anticipates that the programme will lead to improved patient satisfaction scores, better outcome and a more engaged and unified team. The investment in this workshop is part of IMDH’s ongoing commitment to providing the highest standard of care for its community.

The District To***co Control Cell, Mokokchung, organized the Launching Programme of To***co Free Youth Campaign (TFYC) 3.0 on the 9th of October 2025 at Christian Residential Higher Secondary School (CRHSS). The programme was conducted under the initiative of the National To***co Control Programme (NTCP) with the objective of promoting a to***co-free lifestyle among the youth.

The programme was chaired by Ms. Sashi, Teacher of CRHSS, who warmly welcomed the guests and participants.

The Keynote Address was delivered by Dr. K. Tiasenla, District Nodal Officer, NTCP, Mokokchung. In her address, she emphasized the objectives of TFYC 3.0 and the ongoing challenges of to***co use among young people and the critical role of educational institutions in nurturing a to***co-free generation.

The official launching of the campaign was carried out by Dr. Ademla Tinu, Medical Superintendent, IMDH, Mokokchung. She encouraged the students to become ambassadors of a to***co-free lifestyle and urged everyone to take personal responsibility in discouraging to***co use in their communities.

The Vote of Thanks and Pledge Taking were led by Mr. Nukshiwati Longchar, Consultant, NTCP, Mokokchung. He expressed sincere appreciation to the school administration, faculty members, and students for their cooperation and enthusiasm in supporting the campaign.

The programme concluded with the participants taking a pledge to remain to***co-free and to spread awareness among their peers. The event ended on a positive note with light refreshments served to all attendees.
