Yes, this might be the phase you’re advancing in your careers or managing your family responsibilities. But it’s also a critical phase when your hormones begin to change significantly which necessitates the attention to your evolving health needs.

This is the time when you should be focusing more on 'building' rather than 'losing'.

What is the one thing that can save your life?

To be honest, this is the best era for aging!

Nearly all the information on how we can enhance our longevity has been extensively studied and made available to us. If only we make an effort, we can be the best versions of humankind.

To age optimally, preserving musculoskeletal health is crucial. Engaging in regular resistance training and maintaining a balanced diet rich in protein can significantly mitigate the effects of sarcopenia, the age-related loss of muscle mass and strength.

If you have a robust musculoskeletal health, then understand that it is inversely associated with chronic inflammatory states, obesity, and metabolic diseases.

Not only this, focusing on preserving your lean muscle mass is essential for mobility, mental clarity, hormonal balance, and overall well-being.

In social media, you will find the prevalence of a logical fallacy, the “appeal to authority”, where one believes a statement solely based on the stature of the person asserting it.

Apparently the influencers with large followings are given more credibility. They often spread misinformation, inadvertently or deliberately. The followers accept the information without any question. Do not fall for this trap specially if it’s regarding your health. Question everyone. Stay curious.

Critical thinking & scrutiny of facts, rather than keeping blind trust in influential figures, are crucial in evaluating the truth.
