पापान्निवारयति योजयते हिताय ।
गुह्यं च गूहति गुणान् प्रकटीकरोति ।।
आपद्गतं च न जहाति ददाति काले ।
सन्मित्रलक्षणमिदं प्रवदन्ति सन्तः ॥
अर्थात्
पापान्निवारयति- जो पाप से हमें रोकता है
योजयते हिताय - जो हमें हित में जोडता है,
गुह्यं च गूहति- हमारी गुप्त बात गुप्त रखता है,
गुणान् प्रकटीकरोति -हमारे गुणों को प्रकट करता है,
आपद्गतं च न जहाति - आपत्ति आने पर भी हमें छोडता नहीं,
ददाति काले - समय आने पर हमारे लिए जो आवश्यक हो वह हमें देता है।
- हमारी संस्कृति में संत पुरुष इन्हीं को सन्मित्र कहते हैं ।

वैसे तो मित्रता का कोई दिवस नहीं होता। सच्ची मित्रता तो हर क्षण होती है। जैसे जीने के लिए श्वास लेना आवश्यक है, परिवार का होना जरूरी है वैसे जीवन में मित्रों का होना ईतना ही जरूरी है। बिना मित्र का जीवन बिना चित्र के पोस्टर जैसा होता है।
मेरा जीवन मित्रों का मेरे प्रति प्रेम, सद्भावना, उनके मेरे प्रति उपकार इत्यादि की वजह से ही प्रफुल्लित, सुमधुर एवं आनंदित है। में मेरे सभी सन्मित्रो का ऋणी हूँ।सभी मित्रों को आज के मित्रता दिवस की शुभकामनाएँ । 💐
