The festive season is round the corner and we are ready to savour the food that it brings along. 😋❤️ 🌟

Here are some tips for Enjoying Festive Eating mindfully and without any guilt.

- Eat Light Before Going Out: Have a light snack like an open sandwich, curd rice, or nuts and seeds with yogurt to curb hunger. 🌰🥜

- Stay Hydrated: Drink water to avoid dehydration, which can lead to overeating and bloating. 💧

- Mindful Eating: Savor each bite, eat slowly, and listen to your hunger cues to prevent overindulging. 🍽️

- Limit Sweets: Enjoy Meetha (sweets) in small portions, preferably after a meal, and opt for traditional sweets over ice cream. 🍬

- Quality Over Quantity: Choose high-quality snacks and avoid fried or sweetened beverages. 🥤

- Stick to Exercise Routine: Maintain your regular exercise routine even on festive days. 🏋️

- Post-Festivity Concoction: After returning, try a concoction of mint leaves, ajwain, zeera, ginger, and fennel for a lighter feeling. 🍵

- Embrace the Season: Enjoy the festive season mindfully, be grateful, and make wise food choices. 🙏

Why the glutathione hype for lighter skin through injections and creams?
🌟 Is it worth it?

Not at all!

Results vanish without constant, high doses.
Original skin returns, and lacks luster.

🙅‍♀️ Possible side effects: zinc deficiency, rashes, abdominal pain; thyroid, kidney or liver dysfunction, bloating, allergies, etc. 😣

Instead, opt for naturally high glutathione foods and aim for a healthy skin because all skin colours are just as beautiful.

Some of them are:

1) Sulfur-rich: broccoli, garlic, seafood, nuts, legumes 🥦
2) Vitamin C-rich: citrus fruits, bell peppers, berries 🍊
3) Dairy (if no lactose issues) 🥛
4) Selenium-rich: chicken, Brazil nuts 🍗
5) Rainbow veggies (incl. bhindi-aloo) 🌈
6) Turmeric & saffron 🌼
7) Avocados, bananas, pomegranate, watermelon 🥑🍌🍉
8) Omega-3: fish, seeds, walnuts 🐟

P.S. Good sleep and daily exercise boost glutathione absorption! 💤🏋️‍♀️

Staying hydrated during monsoon is often overlooked, and many people tend to forget to drink enough water. 🫠

However, with the extreme humidity, it becomes crucial to keep ourselves well-hydrated to avoid dehydration and related issues. 💕

Our bodies lose a significant amount of water due to constant humidity and heat, making it imperative to consciously drink water or healthy beverages frequently. ☀️

This helps prevent various bacterial infections, skin rashes, hair loss, brain fog, and feeling drained, while also promoting overall well-being.

Here are some tips to ensure you stay hydrated during the rainy season:

1) Set reminders to hydrate frequently if you tend to forget. 🥛✨

2) Opt for hydrating options like coconut water, buttermilk, nimbu paani, herbal teas, light broths, clear soups, and vegetable juices (such as beetroot, amla, ginger, apple, and tulsi blend). 🥥

3) Regular exercise and staying active can help induce thirst and prompt you to drink more water. 🏋️

4) Drink a glass of water 30 to 40 minutes before every meal to support proper digestion and hydration. 🍛🌯

5) Aim for a minimum intake of 2.5 - 3 litres of water daily to maintain good health. 🙏💪

6) Staying well-hydrated ensures effective daily detoxification by flushing out toxins. ✨

Remember, keeping yourself well-hydrated not only helps you avoid health issues but also promotes overall well-being.

Stay well and take care!

Monsoon, a season of refreshing showers, is widely loved for its ability to provide relief after the scorching heat of summer. However, it is important to take care of our digestive health during this time as the season often triggers various air and waterborne diseases that can lead to gut issues. While traditional remedies like kadhas, herbal teas, masala chai, soups, and stews can be helpful, they are mostly effective against bacterial and viral infections. Here are some highly recommended fruits for the monsoon season:

1) Cherries: These fruits are rich in antioxidants, which help reduce inflammation and protect the body from infections. 🍒

2) Litchis: Loaded with antioxidants, litchis can prevent common colds, support gut health, and reduce acidity and indigestion. They are also beneficial for weight loss. 🩷

3) Plums & kiwis - both Plums and kiwis are known to strengthen the immune system. Their high fiber content helps ease constipation, improving gut health and enhancing the absorption of nutrients. 🥝

4) Peaches: Peaches are beneficial for improving the immune system and preventing skin infections and acne. They also support eye health. 🍑

5) Blackberries: These berries improve liver function and are rich in vitamin C, which helps fight infections. They can also help alleviate gastric issues, as they are loaded with potassium and folate. 🖤

6) Pomegranates: Pomegranates enhance immunity and regulate the development of red blood cells. ❤️

7) Dragon fruit: Dragon fruit is extremely beneficial in combating diseases like malaria, dengue, typhoid, and others. 🧡

8) Java plum: This fruit helps fight respiratory problems, maintains healthy hemoglobin levels, and improves digestion. It is also useful in treating diarrhea. 💖

9) Bananas - works wonders for your gut health , acidity, indigestion, diarrhoea, constipation, mood swings to name a few 🍌

Consuming these fruits can strengthen the immune system and prepare the body to fight against monsoon-borne diseases.

Wishing you a happy monsoon!

Do we need a gut cleanse in order to eliminate toxins daily? 🤔

For example, regular enemas, only liquid diets, shakes instead of normal food, coffee cleanses, and fat burners?

NO!

The above practices might actually cause more harm than good.

➡️ It's important to be aware that the human body is brilliant, and the digestive system already works hard to preserve itself by eliminating harmful waste, toxins, and bacteria. 👌

➡️ If you have a regular bowel movement once daily, it indicates that your gut is in good condition and you don't need any of the above mentioned practices. 👎

However, if you are experiencing major constipation, bloating, indigestion, flatulence, weight issues, skin eruptions, disturbed sleep, or lack of energy, which may suggest an inability to absorb nutrients, then you can support your gut with a few natural ingredients.

✅ Firstly, increasing hydration can often solve many issues. You can add fiber to your diet through fruits, vegetables, and vegetable juices (such as beet and amla or lemon, turmeric, peppercorn, and ginger). Including nuts, seeds, and psyllium husk is also beneficial.

✅ Additionally, incorporating resistant starch in your diet, which can be found in foods like sweet potatoes, yams, potatoes, sweet corn, sugar cane, rice, and millets, can help.🌽🍚

✅ Don't forget to include herbal teas in your daily routine and add both prebiotics and probiotics to your diet to promote the growth of beneficial bacteria in the gut. ☕

✅ Lastly, incorporating a wide range of foods in your diet will make a remarkable difference in your colon health. 🥦🍓🥑🥒🥝
