'Millennial Mum’
"I was showered with surprises in my pregnancy days.
Those moments with my family and friends will always be etched in my memory. I was pampered and how by each one who either wrote a poem or speech or showed a presentation of memories. You can find happiness in the smallest of things if you try.
To have a supportive partner during your pregnancy journey is all you need in life. My husband was always at ease and so involved. He never made me feel as if I am alone in the journey.
My baby girl Miraya, is a year old now, and honestly, every moment with her is special.
As she grows older, I hope to be her best friend, sister, mother, all in one.

So to all mothers out there - Always always trust your instincts, a mother can never be wrong in judging and even if you go wrong you are still the best mother for your child. God chose you for a reason. Please don’t use Internet search engines as a guideline to raise your child, everything out there isn’t true.
All in all, just try and enjoy your journey as it will be one of the best times of your life.
And always remember, a happy mother makes a happy child."

"I was away from my husband for the first 3 months of my pregnancy, as we worked out of different cities. It was only in my second trimester that I finally got posted in Vadodara along with him.
Once together, I started worrying if my husband would be able to take me to the hospital in case I get into labor in the middle of the night as he is an early sleeper. All my worries were put to rest when I noticed one night that my husband would wake up and feel my bump to check if I’m fine and go back to sleep. It was then that I was assured that he was aware of his responsibility towards our baby and me even in his sleep. It made me realize the love and care he has for both of us.
I am a Banker and Financial Blogger and my husband always understood my job profile. To date, he makes sure my daughter gets hot food in case I am still at work. He feeds me too when I’m busy on calls.
It’s been 5 years and my daughter, Krisha and I share a beautiful relationship. I am more of a friend than a mother. She is independent and helps around with her household chores. We have our mother-daughter time discussing what’s right and wrong.
So to all mothers out there- Parenting is all about being YOU. It’s ok if you can’t be as per your peers. It’s ok if your kids aren’t doing what peer kids are doing. Stop comparing yourself with others. Each one has their own journey. You’re not just someone’s wife or mom... You have your struggles and you must do things that work for you instead of comparing yourself to fellow moms. Peer Pressure should not affect you from being YOU"
