Gomukhasana, or cow face pose.
The crossed legs represent the mouth of the cow, while the raised arms represent the ears.
Mostly, the arms, thighs, hips, and shoulders benefit from this pose. Enhancing flexibility and releasing tension, it stretches the muscles in the chest and shoulders. It further loosens and releases stiffness in the hips by opening them up. To improve strength and stability, gomukhasana also works the muscles in the upper back and arms.
