Many people feel increased stiffness, swelling, or discomfort in their knees when it rains. This happens due to real changes in the environment that affect your joints.

🔹 Why does it happen?

Drop in barometric pressure → causes tissues in the joints to expand, pressing on sensitive nerves.

Increased humidity → high moisture affects joint lubrication, leading to stiffness and swelling.

Cold & damp weather → makes muscles and ligaments tighten, reducing flexibility.

Reduced activity → rains often keep us indoors, causing joints to become stiff and weak.

1️⃣ Risk of Dislodging a Clot – In ischemic stroke, a blood clot blocks a brain artery. Strong massage can potentially dislodge the clot or disturb fragile blood vessels, leading to another stroke or serious complications.

2️⃣ Fragile Blood Vessels – After a stroke, blood vessels (especially in the brain) may be weak or damaged. Vigorous massage can increase blood pressure locally, causing bleeding in hemorrhagic stroke cases.
