GERD - commonly known as hyper acidity or ‘heartburn’
Many a times people suffer a burning sensation in the chest and get worried about their heart issue but most of the times it is the esophageal reflux that causes heartburn !
Ways to tackle it ?
- small and frequent meal - the most effective method to manage hyper acidity of GERD . Larger and lesser would only make it aggravated .
- eating pattern with respect to your sleeping time - make sure you eat at least 2-3 hrs prior before sleeping or lying down after a meal . This will help in reducing the acid reflux post meal
- fried and spicy food - a strict no for GERD individuals
