REPETITION

Repetition gives birth to a habit.

Phillipa Lally, a health psychologist at University College London examined the habits of 96 people over a 12 week period and came up with evidence that it takes 66 days to form a new habit.

So if you are someone who frequently starts exercising but can not stick to it, then consider sticky for these 66 days.

REPETITIONS INCREASES THE SIZE OF THE BRAIN.

A group of neurologists got interested in the London black cab drivers, because of their unbelievable capacity to remember all roads and their judgment to pass through the narrow lanes .
When they inquired they found out that the process to procure the licence for the cabbies took four years. All the while these drivers were learning and repeating. These neurologists performed a number of brain scans on these drivers, before, during and after they had obtained their licenses . They observed that even in adulthood, a part of the brain called the posterior hippocampus had become physically larger. This area of the brain is related to learning and memory. The new learning and its repetition had altered the anatomy of the brain, even in adulthood .
So, why are you delaying? Just stick to the plan …. and repeat.

Teacher - go back a day from today In your past, and reflect on your self. Thank the people who have loved you and sorry to those who waited for your help.
Student - ok. I will try.
Teacher - did you try?
Student - yes, every day.I go back a day in my past and bless my well wishers.
And apologise to those whom I have hurt unknowingly.
And now I realise that I am improving my future.
