"A Fly on the Wall"
I recently saw this film in MAMI(Mumbai Film festival) and I simply couldn't resist not writing about this incredible make.
It's about a man who chose a DIGNIFIED DEATH at Zurich ,at a place called Dignitas which offers death by choice under physicians supervision for terminally ailing people.
This Guy who chose this path asked his filmmaker friend to film this and what intrigued me about this creation was that how this very close friend agrees to respect her friend's last wish and all the emotions that she felt while she had to witness the final moment while being a film maker and a friend..
Many people watch films for entertainment only..so I don't know how much will they appreciate this movie but there are people like me who love to see thought provoking films..
I was wondering all through the screening whether I agree with this Guy's approach to have a peaceful death which is straight in conflict with how I would want nature to take that call for me..but having said that I still cannot fathom the sporting attitude of people involved in this REAL documented film.
Last but not the least..DIGNITAS ,the only place that offers such an end is indeed serving as blessing to all those who are not able to avail permission of euthanasia.
