It symbolizes the five elements - milk (representing purity), yogurt (representing wealth and prosperity), honey (representing sweetness), ghee (representing victory), and sugar (representing happiness).
It's considered sacred and is believed to please the deities.
Ayurvedic Significance: In Ayurveda, the traditional Indian system of medicine, Panchamrut is sometimes used for its potential health benefits.
It maintains the vata pitta kapha dosha balance in the growing baby’s body and the mother’s mental health.
Each ingredient in Panchamrut is believed to have specific Ayurvedic properties:
Milk: Cooling and nourishing.
Yogurt: Promotes digestion and is probiotic.
Honey: Known for its antimicrobial and rejuvenating properties.
Ghee: Believed to improve digestion and strengthen the immune system.
Sugar: Provides quick energy.
