I used to believe rest had to be earned 🤨

After the work was done.

After my to-do list was checked off.

After everyone else was taken care of.

‌But somewhere after 35, my body stopped responding to overexertion.

More pushing didn’t create more results.

It only created fatigue, irritability, and a quiet sense of overwhelm.

‌That’s when I understood something deeply.

Rest isn’t quitting.

It’s how the nervous system resets ✅

It’s how hormones begin to find balance again ✅

It’s how clarity returns, gently ✅

‌Slowing down isn’t falling behind.

It’s listening.

And sometimes, listening is the most powerful form of healing there is 💫

Yin Yoga, for me, is not just a practice; it's remembering 🧘

‌Yin is the feminine energy we all carry, and as women, it’s how we are designed to heal 👩

‌Unlike fast-paced movement or strength-based practices, Yin Yoga works on the connective tissues, the nervous system, and the emotional body 💫

You stay.

You breathe.

You soften.

Reflux isn’t just excess acid. It’s often ⬇️

- Slow digestion

- A stressed nervous system

- An irritated gut lining

- Poor stomach emptying

‌Some foods increase acid or loosen the acid valve.

Others calm inflammation, absorb excess acid, and help digestion move smoothly ✅

‌Here's the key:

➡️ Not every trigger food triggers everyone.

➡️ Not every healing food suits all bodies.

‌➡️ You are bio-individual.

‌Reflux heals when digestion is supported, not when acid is constantly suppressed. If acidity, bloating, or gut discomfort keep coming back, your body is asking for regulation, rhythm, and safety 😊

So deeply grateful for every woman who trusted this space ✅

For showing up, slowing down, and letting yourself feel.

‌I'm glad my Mediation Club offers reminders:

That slowing down is allowed ☺️

That emotional release is normal.

That feeling better doesn’t have to be dramatic or forced.
