इतिहास में जिन्होंने विजय पाई है, जिन्होंने गौरव प्राप्त किया है, जिन्होंने सम्मान पाया है, जिन्होंने उच्च पदों को प्राप्त किया है, उनके जीवन में हज़ारों संघर्ष, हज़ारों बाधाएँ, हज़ारों संकट, हज़ारों खतरे, हज़ारों शत्रु, हज़ारों समस्याएँ, हज़ारों छिद्र रहे हैं। उन्होंने सब कुछ तुच्छ समझकर अपने अंतिम लक्ष्य को समर्पित कर दिया है। उन्होंने कभी पीछे मुड़कर नहीं देखा। उनके पीछे छिपे सैकड़ों भय उन्हें कभी भयभीत नहीं कर पाए। जो लोग इन सभी भयों, खतरों, संघर्षों, संकटों, बाधाओं और परेशानियों को ज़रूरत से ज़्यादा महत्व देते हैं, वे कभी नहीं सुधर पाएँगे। उन्हें इन सबका तिरस्कार करना होगा और अपनी सफलता और लक्ष्य की ओर स्वयं बढ़ना होगा।

Those who have won in history, those who have been proud, those who have been honored, those who have reached high positions, have had thousands of conflicts, thousands of obstacles, thousands of troubles, thousands of dangers, thousands of enemies, thousands of problems, thousands of holes in their lives. They have despised everything and given it to their ultimate goal. They have never looked back. The hundreds of fears behind them have never frightened them. Those who give more importance to all these fears, dangers, conflicts, crises, obstacles, and troubles will never be able to improve. They will have to despise all these and go towards their own success and goals.

समाज में हज़ारों बुरे लोग हैं, बुरे चरित्र और बुरे कर्मों वाले। अगर आप उनसे दूर रहेंगे, तो आप खुश रहेंगे। यह सच भी है। जब आप खुश और सुंदर होंगे, तो कई बुरे लोग, बुरे जानवर, बुरी चीज़ें आपकी खुशी बर्दाश्त नहीं कर पाएँगी। वे आपको चोट पहुँचाएँगे, आप पर हमला करेंगे, लेकिन आपकी खुशी को नष्ट कर देंगे। यही दुनिया का धर्म है। फिर भी, हमें सब कुछ त्याग कर खुशी का रास्ता चुनना होगा।

उस समय के ब्राह्मणों और अन्य धर्मों व मान्यताओं के अनुयायियों ने बुद्ध की हत्या, उन्हें बदनाम करने और उनके सभी अवशेषों को नष्ट करने के लिए कितने ही षड्यंत्र रचे होंगे? शायद बुद्ध रत्न के साथ भी यही सच है। हज़ारों लोग उनके अनुयायी थे।

हज़ारों बंगाली और गैर-बंगाली, जो वहाँ मौजूद हैं, उन्हें नष्ट करने, उनकी हत्या करने, उन्हें तरह-तरह से बदनाम करने और उन्हें नष्ट करने की कोशिश कर रहे हैं। जिस तरह बुद्ध को उनके भोजन में ज़हर मिलाकर मार दिया गया था, उसी तरह कई लोग बुद्ध रत्न के साथ भी ऐसा ही करने की कोशिश कर रहे हैं।

चाहे कितने ही शत्रु हों, कितने ही शत्रु हों, कितने ही बुरे लोग हों, चाहे बुद्ध रत्न के पीछे कुछ भी छिपा हो, महान कर्म हों, मानवीय कर्म हों, नैतिक जीवन हों, ध्यानपूर्ण जीवन हों, बुद्धिमान जीवन हों, वह वहां से कभी नहीं गिरेगा, वह कभी नहीं हटेगा।

How many conspiracies must have been hatched by the Brahmins and followers of other religions and beliefs of that time to kill the Buddha, defame him and destroy all his remains? Perhaps the same is true with Buddha Ratna. Thousands of people were his followers.

Thousands of Bengalis and non-Bengalis, who are present there, are trying to destroy them, kill them, defame them in various ways and destroy them. Just as the Buddha was killed by poisoning his food, many people are trying to do the same with the Buddha Ratna.
