Oil in the nose sounds strange… until you understand Ayurveda.

Ancient Ayurvedic texts describe
the nose👃as the gateway to the head - 💆
Nāsā hi śiraso dvāram.

Nasya (Nasyam) is not just about sinus relief.
It works at a deeper level by supporting prāṇa — the body’s natural regulator of breathing, mental clarity, sleep, and nervous system balance.

When prāṇa is disturbed, symptoms often show up as:
• chronic nasal blockage or allergies
• light or disturbed sleep
• anxiety, mental fatigue, or brain fog
• stress-related palpitations or low energy

Ayurveda doesn’t chase symptoms alone.
It focuses on stabilising the command centre first — so the body can restore its own rhythm.

Nasya is a time-tested Ayurvedic therapy, best experienced under proper guidance.

Okay, let me tell you why Calright Oil actually made sense to me.

This isn’t one of those loud, strong-smelling pain oils with zero logic behind it.
Calright feels thought through.

Arjuna — traditionally associated with bone and tissue support.
Ashwagandha — helps the body cope with inflammation and stress (and post-injury pain is both).
Shatavari — nourishes tissues and supports stiffness and swelling.

And the base matters.
Sesame (Teel) + Mustard (Sarso) oils — deep penetrating, warming, and non-greasy. They carry the herbs where the body actually needs them.

What I genuinely loved:
• Absorbs well
• Doesn’t sit sticky on the skin
• Feels comforting, not aggressive
• Easy to use daily

For me, Calright wasn’t just about pain.
It was about supporting my body while it healed.

That’s the kind of Ayurveda I trust.

Many gym-goers believe that if it doesn’t hurt, it doesn’t heal.
That pressure equals progress.

That’s a myth.

Deep tissue massage works by force - breaking tight muscles and fascia.
Ayurvedic therapies work by intelligence - restoring circulation, lubrication, nerve balance, and recovery.

In heavily trained bodies, excess pressure can actually increase internal dryness, joint stress, and micro-inflammation.
That’s why classical Ayurvedic therapies are designed to soften, nourish, and repair, not punish the body.

Ayurveda is not weak.
It is precise, systemic, and long-term.

Train hard.
Recover wisely.

LEECH THERAPY 🪱🪱🪱

Why would Ayurveda still use leeches in modern clinical practice?

Leech therapy is known in Ayurveda as Jalaukavacharana, is a classical blood-letting procedure described in the Panchakarma texts.

This therapy is traditionally advised in conditions where there is local congestion, stagnation, inflammation, or excessive heat in the tissues. By allowing controlled removal of impure or vitiated blood, the body’s natural circulation and healing response is supported.

Medical leeches release bioactive substances through their saliva, which help improve microcirculation in the affected area. This process supports tissue nourishment and helps reduce local discomfort over time.

Leech therapy is commonly considered in conditions related to joint stiffness, localized swelling, varicose tendencies, skin-related concerns, and certain chronic pain patterns—only after proper clinical evaluation.

At Ayurvedam, leech therapy is performed under strict hygiene protocols, using medically sourced leeches, and is always preceded by a detailed doctor consultation and diagnosis.

The number of sessions, site of application, and suitability are decided purely based on the individual’s condition and prakriti.

This is not a cosmetic or casual procedure - it is a therapeutic intervention rooted in classical Ayurveda and must always be done under expert supervision.”
