At my daughter Nainika’s convocation ceremony at Palaksha University in Chandigarh, with her receiving B.Tech in Biological Systems Engineering. It made me incredibly proud, especially with her securing internships and scholarships at prestigious institutes such as IIT Mumbai, IISC Bengaluru, and Tsinghua University in Beijing. Terrific ceremony with an inspiring speech from Dr Narayanan (ISRO) and ending with a Bhangra dance 😀

We had treated an AVM patient who had come in comatose with a massive bleed due to AVMs. Thankfully, he recovered almost completely. The family manages an NGO that cares for around 100 children. The message and card were sent by the kids! When we treat a patient, we may impact many more lives around them.

Today is Guru Purnima, a beautiful tradition to acknowledge our teachers. Received many heart-warming messages from past students and colleagues. I also pay my respects to my teachers 🙏🏼. I have huge gratitude towards my patients and their families as well, who have taught me in so many ways!

Yesterday, we performed a complex aneurysm case in which we treated three aneurysms in one session. To my pleasure and surprise, Dr. Ashwin B. Mehta came to the lab to discuss the techniques and our approach in neurointervention. It was such an honour to have the pioneer of interventional cardiology in our country with us in the lab. It is truly inspiring to see the enthusiasm and spirit of enquiry at his senior level.

Dear friends and colleagues,
I am pleased to share that I have joined Sir H.N. Reliance Foundation Hospital, Mumbai. I will be working towards establishing a comprehensive Neurovascular and Stroke Intervention Centre at the hospital. This marks an exciting new chapter in my journey, and I look forward to contributing meaningfully to advancing neurointervention services. Your continued support and encouragement mean much to me as I take this step forward with hope and purpose.

My last party in Gurgaon, before leaving for Mumbai. My cousin Amit’s 50th birthday. Enjoyed the connect which I have with the family. I guess we’ll have to keep coming back to enjoy with them :)

My last day at Paras Health, Gurgaon. I received a warm farewell from my Neurosciences seniors and senior colleagues. It was such a pleasant experience that the administration participated warmly and had only positive words to say to me. I will miss many of the friends I made, as well as my fellows. Life is a journey, and I am excited about the next destination.

It was a great honour to be part of the SLICE 2025 Neurointervention training course. It is a unique educational platform conducted by Professor Vincent Costalat from Montpellier, focusing on practical teaching. The meeting not only involved discussions on burning topics, but it was also a satisfying experience to be involved in live demonstrations of AVM and aneurysm cases. The charm of these meetings is meeting colleagues and friends from all over the world, having discussions with them, and performing three model “live” procedures together. It is amazing how 3D printing technology has evolved and is helping us in teaching purposes.
I thank Vincent for helping place India's expertise and experience on this platform.

Attended the World Neurosciences Conclave, took a talk on endovascular management of complex aneurysms, as well as chaired the intervention session, a great opportunity to meet friends from India and abroad :)
