Happiness - make it your choice!
Being Happy should be your primary goal. Make it your prime objective. Being Happy or being sad is a choice. You always have a choice. Try choosing Happiness - you can be happy without any reason. Make Happiness your priority and see the way it helps you both in terms of physical health and mental health.
You may face situations or events in life which will lead to grief, anger, pain, overthinking, etc. but after a reasonable amount of time has passed you should go back to being happy.
Generally, you will tell yourself, once I achieve this particular target I will be happy; if I get this - bonus, promotion, house, money - I will be happy. This is conditional happiness. Break away from this routine. This will only be temporary happiness. Once you achieve your target you will move on to another target and postpone your happiness. Your career, your married life, your education, your children, your house, all this will always be issues bringing heart aches, problems, tensions, etc. But train yourself to keep the focus on happiness.
Mould yourself to be happy all the time. Make it a practice, make it a habit, make it a way of life. Happiness is every thing.
