The human body does not work in such a start-stop fashion. Anyone can live in a semi-starved state for a short time to lose weight. There will be results to show such an effort. However that is going to be unsuccessful for the future, because during the forced period of deprivation, your body will go into the survival mode & whenever you start to eat normal you will pile on weight with a vengeance.

Take your time and enjoy the taste when eating your meals. Food differs in chewiness. When you eat chewy food, chew till the become soft with each bite.

Do not wash down food with drinks -
Do not drink while you have food in your mouth. When you chew thoroughly, the food will become small and easy to swallow.
