But that isn’t completely true! You could have progressed or must be on the way to progress📈. Either way, it would be imperative for you to involve yourself with a partner 👫🏻that helps you heal. That helps you take it further.

Because after all, HEALING IS A CONTINUED PROCESS.

Just because we have too many Mental Health Experts on Social media (& some quacks too 😜) the words like TOXICITY, TRAUMA, BOUNDARIES, SELF CARE, etc are being used as of they were water being used in India 🫣

Lately I have seen, met, heard so many talk about their relationships in terms of being toxic. Sometimes when they come from my clients & we happen to dig deeper, we realise that it wasn’t really toxicity that we were talking about.

Also when we start seeing everything & everyone around us as TOXIC, it may be time to throw some light 💡 on where we might be going wrong in reading the situation or the person. Let’s focus a lil more on our perspective here.

One must learn to adapt to different conditions making sure that they put their self care at priority💆🏻‍♀️.

People who live away from family forget to take care of themselves. There is not much work- life balance noted which eventually leads to a very monotonous life. This can be causes to too many stressors. 🤦🏻

> I’ve come across so many people who have told me that they have not needed therapy because they could deal with their own issue 💪🏻 & then they came back to me later in life when their symptoms had aggravated so much that they had to take professional help👩🏻‍⚕️.

> Then I’ve met these other set of people who claim that they have been fine all by themselves by watching 👀motivational video & reading self help books📚 while when you meet them in person, it could clearly be noted that the person is still suffering from some form of depression😞 which is unidentified by themselves.

Hence, decided to make a post depicting what you might feel dealing with depression😔 may only seem like mellow-ing the symptoms so that the presence of the illness is munimal but has not been eradicated in any form.

🙏🏻 Happy Gurupurnima 🙏🏻 to all the wonderful Guru’s in the world 🌎

While on today’s day of Gurupurnima, I am so grateful for all the best of mentor’s I have in my life & grateful for what they have offered to me in the form of teachings 👩‍🏫 I like any other student would love to pay back for the greatness offered. But I can only give what I have. I’m concerned for the constant surge of responsibility that a ‘Guru’ is feels burdened with when they want to teach their student.

Even while in the pandemic 😷 times when all of us were figuring out what to do, to how to manage; our brave teachers were busy teaching. And they always have.

Hence today I want to take a moment to make sure that they take care for themselves. And as a Mental Health 👩🏻‍⚕️ expert, this is all I can do as my offering to help them get in touch with themselves & help them check-in with their best of Mental Healths.

Relationships 👫🏻have always been hard. Hard to find a suitable match. Hard to stay in one. Hard to understand. And harder to leave.

Once you are in a relationship, breaking up is harder too. No matter whether your relationship was a short lived or a long one. It clearly depends on the kind of connect & attachment🧑🏻‍❤️‍💋‍🧑🏻 you had to it.

Having said that, break ups can be hard😩. It can become frustrating to deal with all the surge of emotions that you feel after the breakup. More often than not people have reported getting back into the relationships only because it was hard to deal with the pain & grief of ending things.

But as we know, it didn’t work out because of a reason☹️. Hence, in this post, I have tried to put down a few points in terms of what can be done when you have the urge to call your ex partners or to resist the urge of getting back.

Understanding Mental Health illnesses are known as invisible illnesses 👻 . They are surely difficult to identify, treat & understand but what makes it even worse is the following Stigma attached to it!

Things would have been so much less complicated if they were straight up (speak what you feel). I barely find people talking genuinely about what they speak about their emotions. What they talk is so different from what they feel😇 in the moment. And this could just be because they are so unaware, because of the defences they use or they are simply untrained to follow the simple rule of feeling & saying. How else will the nitty gritties of stigma come in the picture?

How society is always demeaning people telling them how they must feel when they grieve 😩 or how they must feel when they are angry 😡 or act in a certain way only as set by society standards.

So here is another post challenging 🤺these stigma or society. Putting forth how one can have two feelings so different yet co- existing with each other.

Every time a relationship end, it breaks your heart 💔. Because you never thought it would end. You never saw what was about to come. Nobody ever does! Hence the pain!😖

Our relationships change over time. Some leave us angry 😡 , resentmentful & some with regret or guilt 🙊.

It is never easy to move on when you had your entire life involved into this. So make sure you take your time to heal 😷 & get back in a state of mental stability.
Find closure for your own self by your own self rather than looking outside or externally.

At the end, it must be said that no matter what you feel about the relationship that has ended, you must take a call based on where you are right now & what will work in your best interest now & in future.😇

Mental Health is important sure! ✅
But being surrounded by everyone who thinks they can read a book & get onto a few courses to be capable of “becoming or taking place of a therapist”; I feel like it’s my duty to bring this to everyone’s notice what MH really IS NOT!!

Understand that MH is neuro- biological 🧠 , psycho pathological in nature too. Only taking a few courses of Meditation, Healing ❤️‍🩹 & inner child trauma will not make you help people heal “therapeutically”. There is a lot to therapy than just a few jargons learnt.
So stop 🛑 promoting being a therapist (or taking it’s place) when you aren’t.

I’ve said enough!!
