What a year it was!
Being the President of will always remain a highlight in my life
It started off a bit tumultuous but soon enough it steadied and it was full throttle ahead - largely due to the support, encouragement, and love of friends and colleagues who rallied around me
So many people made it so easy for me to take the society a step ahead and to make new strides in academics and community service
In the end I walk away awed and blessed

BPS has always been and always will be home

Mental health literacy is about gaining knowledge about mental health, awareness about issues , spotting signs and symptoms, information on help available.
But most of all its about empowering ourselves to take care of us and those around us
So grateful to .in for their efforts in making our world well

We take our team names, logo, colours, run rates and trophies very seriously but not more than the vada pav 😄

Got roped into wicket keeping, almost took a few catches, but no one was more surprised than me when i actually took an important wicket with a run out!

These are a few of my favourite things... I did in December
Was invited as the Chief Guest at the Annual Day function of St Charles Primary School for Girls
The lil kids put up a wonderful show and I throughly enjoyed myself. The choir, the musical, the martial arts, the hoola hoop, the marching band...
I love going back to schools, seeing the children fills me with joy & hope and it all makes sense again

These are a few of my favorite things....I did this December

A Walkathon for Mental Health Awareness with BPS and Rotary Ghatkopar - cut the ribbon, flagged off the walk, marched with allies, distributed pamphlets, applauded the street play, adressed the audience, encouraged the panel, interacted with students and adults

What else will I dash back from Jim Corbett in a day for but doing the good work in service of Psychiatry

FAVMI ( Families Voice on Mental illness ) founded by Saraswathi Suresh, is a group of carers advocating for the wellness and rights of people with mental illness which hosts a podcast series “ Unfolding mental illness”
As the world increasingly emphasizes mental health at work, this episode builds on the momentum of 2024 Mental Health Day's theme, “Prioritize Mental Health in the Workplace.”
I was happy to share my views on the episode "Mental Wellbeing in the modern workplsce"
