The River Ganga holds immense spiritual significance, especially during the Mahakumbh Mela, when millions of devotees gather to take a holy dip with faith and devotion.
At Anchrom, we recently collected water samples from Mahakumbh Mela and analyzed key inorganic parameters like Iron, Nitrate, Calcium, sulphate, Ammonia and more using our ‘KPM AMS Alliance SmartChem 450 Discrete Analyzer’.
The SmartChem is an automated wet chemistry platform that analyse multiple parameters, uses minimal reagent, and produces minimal waste – with results available within minutes.
The parameters tested (according to ISO 15923 Part 1 and 2 methods) were found to be within the acceptable limits.
We deeply appreciate the continuous efforts of the Namami Gange Programme, National Mission for Clean Ganga (NMCG), Uttar Pradesh Pollution Control Board (UPPCB), Prayagraj Municipal Corporation, Uttar Pradesh Jal Nigam, Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB), Ministry of Jal Shakti, Jal Jeevan Mission, Central Water Comission and many more in maintaining the quality of Ganga water even during such large-scale gatherings.
Our aim at Anchrom is to support these initiatives by demonstrating reliable analytical technologies like SmartChem, which can help in quick and accurate water quality monitoring.
